Ill try and catch it and give a recap.
Arians reminds me of a big ol' Daddy Bullfrog.
He talked about the phone call between him and Pagano when he found out about the leukemia.
This is my favorite charity. Spend a lot of time fundraising for them. So:

Thanks for the linky. You must have seen that shot of Arians and crew chilling out in the bleachers at the Senior Bowl. Pretty trippy looking dude in his black beret and dark shades. Definitely some froggy character I'm trying to remember.

We don't get CBS sports radio in PHX. I guess you can listen online.
Wow. I didn't know that Rome was off the air in Phoenix. That ish cray. My dad must be p.o.'d.
He moved to CBS sports radio, which I guess is fairly new, and they don't have an affiliate in Phoenix. Jay Mohr took over his old show which is on Xtra 910 from 10am-noon.
then don't listen to Jay Mohr. I've listened twice and it's bad, very bad.Yeah... I'd heard the promos for Mohr and idly noted the time, which seemed weird to me. I usually listen to Kemp when I'm listening to the radio in the morning. I haven't listened to Rome in years and years (kind of started getting interested in the "Sports" side of "sports talk").

Can't be any worse than Burns and Gambo.
Glad for the info, but I'm sorry you had to listen to that schmuck Rome to get it. I cannot stand that guy. His style is to say the same things five or six times, in an authoritative voice, with big dramatic pauses in between. Wash, rinse, repeat, boring.
If I didn't know this thread was referencing Jim Rome, I'd swear you would be describing Colin Cowherd there.

ESPN has a bunch of guys like that - Skip Bayless, Stephen A. Smith and the two point/counterpoint argue-ers. Makes me thankful for my remote (especially the Mutant button). If I didn't know this thread was referencing Jim Rome, I'd swear you would be describing Colin Cowherd there.

Cowherd is annoying but is at least articulate, occasionally funny and intelligent. Rome brings nothing to the table but a horrific goatee and bitchiness.
They are both unbearable
