Hey! RMFN...

GOOD to hear from you. I hear ya' about the loyalty/moves thing. IF the Cards had moved to AZ. and become, say, the "scorpions", I would've been done with football. One year in hockey, the Blues came out with these God-awful uni's and I could barely watch them play. YUCK!

ALL THE BEST TO YOU, RMFN!

...And I expect Sunday to be close as the Rams are the MORE desperate team and that gives them the emotional-edge. BUT...I do trust our coaching staff to have our guys ready and being at home should make the difference in the game.

MARK IN SC :)

Welcome back RMFN. It is nice to hear from you again.

Well, this game Sunday at U.of P. Stadium figures to be a very interesting one. The Rams defensive front seven will be more than a match for the Cards offensive line. Your front office has worked diligently building a defense from the inside out, and it is turning into something special. One only has to look at your most recent game against the 'Niners to see that this defense can carry your team.

I believe that the Cards will have their hands full trying to protect Carson Palmer next Sunday afternoon. He is not nearly so fleet footed as is Colin Kaepernic, and I believe you sacked him 7 times in your win over San Francisco. On top of that, it is the interior of our O-line that is the weakest point. The fact that Dallas exploited that weakness will probably have your defensive coaches salivating at the thought of 'old man Palmer' behind the wheel here in the Desert. I hope we find a way to keep him upright and healthy against your young and very talented defensive front.

I believe that this week, the Cardinals will face a team that is beginning to believe in themselves. It looks to be a very hard fought, (and not easily won), game regardless of the outcome. Your record of 2-4 against teams with winning records places you with the Ravens and the Chargers, both of whom can play very tough. Enjoy the game. I will be hoping for a Cardinals win. Let's hope that the game is decided by the players on the field and not the officials.

Back for a bleating?

Wool you fleece stop with the puns…

Seriously though, this Rams defense looks pretty potent. Fortunately for us, I don't think Arians will allow the Cards to get caught asheep at the wheel.

This is the game Larsen gets exposed and Cooper takes his rightful place. Just my guess.

Hasn't Larsen already been exposed though? If he gets any more exposed Palmer is going to get hurt against that pass rush.

I honestly don't think BA would play dice with Palmer's health, which leaves me with the inescapable and depressing conclusion that he isn't better than Larsen right now.

I think he is better but BA is scared to death of messing with the OL continuity.

Your opinion is valid, especially considering that's the reason we've been given, but when has BA ever not played the best player at any position?

I don't think coach is afraid of anything, but I get your drift. But just wtf is up with Cooper anyway, that's what I wanna know????

Yep. But OL is a different animal sometimes.

Agree with this mostly. I read somewhere that SF tried something like 5 different OL combinations in the game last week. Dude got sacked 8 freaking times.

If you're calling out protections and communicating constantly maybe it's more important to be smart than athletically gifted. Maybe Cooper is still catching up in that department, who knows.

Maybe Coop is having trouble with the protection schemes and slow to react to it on the line, during games? Communication-wise, I mean. Who knows. Seems so inexplicable though.

Let's be honest dude, when I saw him in games in preseason he looked lost. And it wasn't athletically, he was floating in space like Housler does, unable to figure out who to block.

Welcome back RMFN! I have had an ominous feeling around these Rams. Its just a matter of time that all those top picks and that good coaching rise to the top of the Division. I think they proved that they are coming with the wins over the 9ers and Seahags. I think we win the home game but would not be surprised to lose in your house.

They said he has had great practices lately. Keim wants to work him in. He has recovered. Continuity is the only excuse I can think of, given Larsen's extremely average run blocking.

In truth, I think we win by two touchdowns or more. The Rams have a good D, but they're not going to hang with us at home. This isn't the Santa Clara 9ers and they aren't coming to Pant's stadium where half the crowd leaves at halftime to get out of the sun. I think we bring the Rams back down to Earth on Sunday. Feel free to bring this post up if I'm wrong...but I don't think they're a very good team.

They're not a good team. But they excel at what we suck at. Our weakest link on offense is what they're good at attacking defensively. I think we'll win regardless, but for the love of God protect Palmer.

I'd bet we see a lot more of Hughes in the backfield--possibly even a tight end? Has BA done that before? I can't remember.

I read where Arians was quoted as saying that he doesn't believe in messing with the starters of the OL once the season has started. He said the only way Cooper starts is because of injury & that he will be starting next year.

Well the Rams keep it close for a while. The Rams Board are calling for Davis's head. I like the pressure the Rams D put up but it was the Cards D that mange to make a difference.

The Rams need to find a QB or at least get one to develop. This team will go nowhere with the 3 QB's they have now.

Good luck the rest of the way, and believe it or not I'll be rooting for the Cards.

I damn sure won't be rooting for the Seahags or Whiners.

Until December, take care and enjoy the ride.

Davis is really close to being good but like many young QB's he makes bad decisions like that forced throw that PP picked. The picksix was a bit high but really on the WR.
