It was the right call. The ball was knocked out prior to him hitting the ground, he never regained full possession of the football. Therefore it is a fumble.
It was the right call by all measures. Seriously not getting the stress over this one. Not one chief fan near us complained.
Maybe the TV announcers planted something false in your heads.
At the game we saw the side view replay immediately and it was beyond clear. Again not one chiefs fan complained and they just hung their heads.

Of course they are going to say that. They are chiefs fans. If the roles were reversed then the non-realist cardinal fans would be saying the same thing.
Noobs buy I'll take 2- carne asada burritos you know where to get em.
Taco bell?
That was one of them "it's only the right call by the letter of the rules" deals. The rules don't always translate to the correct call being made.
The ball being knocked loose for a split-second is never in doubt. I thought he regained control as he rolled over. Bucannon being out of position in coverage turned out working in our advantage.
On the Kansas City Star facebook page they asked if the fumble was a bad call. There are hundreds of replies, almost all in the affirmative. A lot of them are sure they'll be getting an apology real soon from the league office. Dreaming is free I guess.

And you wouldn't do the same?
This place would be freaking out if the same thing happened to the Cardinals.
The TV announcers were awful for most of the game, and the "rules expert" they have, Mike something, was even worse. I don't know what feed people were watching, but I had a stream up and you could see the ball loose in the first 2 replays they showed on TV. Of course the color guy was till hung up on the wording the ref used. I think he said they were looking at the catch and down by contact ruling. The color guy kept going back to whether or not it was a catch, and was adamant that the catch was the only thing the refs could review.
