Ball State women's basketball returns to Women's March Madness this year.
Ball State (27-7) swept the Mid-American Conference regular season and tournament titles to clinch their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2009 and just the second in program history. Ball State was given a No. 12 seed and will take on No. 5 seed Ole Miss (20-10) in the first round.
The Cardinals and Rebels will face off in the Waco Region hosted by Baylor. Should Ball State make the Sweet 16, it will play in Spokane, Washington.
Ball State is led by MAC Player of the Year Ally Becki, while Ole Miss is led by three-time All-SEC selection Madison Scott.
