I saw the Doors at the Whiskey on Sunset in Hollywood when they were the house band. I was in Jr. High and older friends used to sneak me in. Morrison was the first guy I ever saw in leather pants. Needless to say my parents thought I was someplace else.

Yikes... those listed above are the only ones I've even heard of...

.

Always preferred the small venue shows amd the unknown/up and comer bands. The punk/indie scene. I could probably triple that list and Id still forget a ton. I really like seeing live music.

saw max's last show w sepultura (last tour). was a great show. they have sucked since he left.

I don't like anything after Arise. Chaos AD was less than mediocre, IMO, and they just aren't up to the hype.

Another addendum:

Flotsam & Jetsam (or some derivation thereof). I saw them at the Rialto in Tucson like 10 years ago, so it was nowhere near the original lineup....

Hey! We have Santana in common! Also, we're Pink Floyd-adjacent....

:D

I missed you at the Deicide show though....

Since I had no idea who Deicide was I googled them..... no one told me to go see them because I'm a vegetarian... not into raw meat at a concert...:D

Deicide while horrible in lyrics is insanely violent and entertaining riff wise for me.

DEI - Arise is probably the best, I really enjoyed chaos and even half of the roots album though. Beneath the remains is my #2 after arise.

I decided to give this a shot. So I started putting all the bands on a google spreadsheet. Now I cannot copy and paste it anywhere...grrrr.

Anyway my list was already over 115 bands with a lot of them having seen multiple times. I am not sure if I am proud or embarrassed by this. However, I did spend the greater part of the 1990's seeing as many live shows as I could. maybe I can start the list another way so I can post later.
