I can add Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. They played at the Musical Instrument Museum on Saturday night. The show was outstanding.

(If you haven't been to a concert at the MIM do so. It only seats 300 people and the acoustics are excellent.)

I have never been to a rap concert. Since I am ignorant about it, (with the exception of Snoop Dogg's 'The Chronic'), is LL Cool J worth going to see? He's coming to Albq at the end of June and I'm considering it.

The Ladies Love Cool J. I've found his concerts to be geared to a female audience almost to the point you sorta feel like you're at a male strip club at times. Just my personal perspective.

That might be a good thing.... my wife wants to go. I would probably prefer something with more of an edge to it, not necessarily total gangsta but maybe a stronger beat.

He has some harder songs that often make the playlists like "Mama Said Knock You Out" and "I'm Bad".

I haven't seen a lot of bands live. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Train, Sheryl Crow, Los Lonely Boys, George Jones, and a bunch of country acts that go through my casino.

But on Saturday tickets for BB King go on sale for a concert in Deadwood. I hope I can score a couple of those. That'll be the penultimate. He'd probably top RHCP as the best band I've seen live.

BB King is a true legend. But, be prepared. He usually plays only about 5 songs now.

Thanks aj.

It was my understanding his performances were limited but I still would love to see the guy. I just seen his performance recently on the White House celebration of the blues and he was still very good.

Hopefully I am lucky enough to score some tickets before they sell out.

I've seen BB a couple of times, way back maybe 20 years. Outdoors at night with Stevie Ray Vaughan... yowwwzzzaa.

You won't be disappointed in BB. Even if he only does 'The thrill is gone' it's worth the price of a ticket.

I can add LL Cool J to the list. Lots of screaming women as DWKB suggested there would be, but a good show nonetheless.
