In four games, Banks has had two good games and two bad games.

Game 1. He shoots 4 of 6 for three (he missed his only two point shot)

Game 2. He was 0 for 4 for three and hit only 1 of 3 inside the arc.

Game 3. He didn't shoot and the team did not do well when he was in.

Game 4 He shot 2 of 3 for three and 4 of 5 inside the arc in 16.4 minutes.

He's still awfully inconsistent, but he seems to be contributing.

he has the toughest job in the NBA. he'll be okay as long as he doesn't try to be steve nash.

I wish Banks nothing but success, however, I'd like to see him rack up some points and play some defense when the game is still being decided. I guess I'm waiting to see if he can be a legitimate rotational or situational player and not a garbage time player.

true. the suns and nash really need a legit bup point gard. I guess barbosa has fit the role somewhat. the only PG i've ever seen have success backing up steve was nick the quick. he just came in and played his game. he was a darn good player though too.

Banks looks a lot better. Last year he was worse than worthless, but this year he has the look of a contributor--he brought back his full-court defense on the ball-handler, too.

Is it too early to hire a personal coach for Alando Tucker? Who's the guy who taught Bonzi Wells how to play...was it Tim Grgrich?

Baby steps. Last year, he wasn't even a good garbage time player. If he does nothing else but let Nash actually sit out the fourth quarter in a blowout, it will be an improvement. I actually think he's been pretty good in spots even with the game on the line.

In truth, though, I just hope he does well enough to interest another team in taking him off our hands. For $4 mil a year, I'd rather have another big man than another short shooting guard.

He's doing a good job if he can maintain this through out the year it could be huge having a rested Nash entering the playoffs. He should also get time at SG if he keeps hitting 3's at a good clip.

he looks more confident at least so far this year. last year he didn't even look like NBA material.
