I flippin loved it! Full throttle violence and sex from start to finish, pretty much every episode. That finale was nuts.

Some of the violence is so intense it makes my face hurt.

Banshee Gets Season 3 Pickup

http://danbuffa82.wordpress.com/2014/01/30/banshee-gets-season-3-pickup/

Critics can say what they want, but fans speak louder than the writers when it comes to shows like Banshee. It knows exactly what it is and wants to be and as creator Greg Yaitanes points out, they treat every season as if it’s the last one. That’s a balls to the wall approach and one that serves an action drama like this series. Coming from the producer behind Six Feet Under and True Blood(Alan Ball), Banshee’s depiction of an upper Northeast town’s madness is addicting and a dish that is so hard to put down.

Banshee isn’t just loved once a week. Hardcore “Fanshees” like myself take in every episode at least twice, reveling in the glory of violence, sex, and story threads firing like pistons in a mustang. You can’t just take this ride once. It has to be re-watched and loved over and over again. It’s like a candy bar. You always want more than one and don’t mind licking your fingers clean.

They killed the Rabbit. Rebecca killed Alex. Job back from the dead. Emmet and wife killed. Carrie went back to Gordy.

Are they winding this down for good or building plotlines for a 3rd season?

Whoops just saw they were renewed. Very cool.

New enemies list.

1. Crazy Huge Indian Littlestone
2. Neo Nazis
3. Sugar vs Kai
4. Nola?

Next episode S03E08 features the song "One In A Million" by ASFN's own Broken Romeo.

Too cool.

Promo video for the episode:

Eliza Dushku Joins Cinemax’s ‘Banshee’

http://deadline.com/2015/04/eliza-dushku-banshee-cinemax-1201405176/

The Cinemax drama has been busy ramping up its cast lately, and now comes word that Eliza Dushku is joining Banshee. The drama series from Alan Ball centers on Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, PA, where he continues his criminal pursuits while enforcing his own code of justice. Dushku will recur as Agent Veronica Dawson, a tough, sexy and shockingly reckless FBI profiler with no shortage of personal demons who joins forces with Hood to hunt down a killer.

Banshee, which was renewed for a fourth season in February, has added a couple of regulars (Chris Coy and Matthew Rauch) and a season-long arc for Ana Ayora in the past few weeks. Casey LaBow also is set to recur.

Oh my! Season 3 looks intense.

I just finished Season 2. This show just doesn't slow down. I liked how they slowly moved the story along too, while providing nonstop action.

I had no idea until right now that Alan Ball was involved.

I was confused by Sugar's visit to see Proctor. Seemed really awkward. I was expecting it to lead to something, but it never did.

‘Banshee’ To End After Fourth Season, Cinemax Confirms

http://deadline.com/2015/07/banshee-on-cinemax-to-end-with-season-4-1201486764/

Cinemax has made it official. The premium cabler announced today in a statement that Banshee’s fourth season will be its last. Its eight-episode Season 4 will premiere in January.

Word is that the producers have known this was coming for some time, giving them enough leeway to bring the series to a proper conclusion rather than a sudden ending.

Banshee Season Four:

This brutally entertaining crime drama returns for its fourth and final season, jumping ahead in time with Lucas Hood (Antony Starr) no longer the sheriff, sporting a very different look as he becomes embroiled in a serial-murder case that affects characters on both sides of the law. And you'll never guess who's the town mayor.

Sucks that this show is ending. :|

Helluva kickoff to the final season. 1 & 2 are major high octane set ups for the rest of the season and conclusion.

Ya got your American Nazis
Crazy Native Americans on the Warpath
Redneck meth cookers
Cartel coke/meth/heroin syndicate
"Job" is missing or in a secret CIA retention prison ( or dead )
Proctor is whacking anyone in his way

Lots of collateral damage

If you don't have CMax you are SOL.
