Suns guard Leandro Barbosa will be available to play in tonight’s home game against the New York Knicks.
Barbosa has missed the past eight games with a left knee sprain. He finished Thursday’s practice in pain and at the time did not believe he would play tonight, but he has been medically cleared to play.
“I’m going to try,” Barbosa said today. “I just wanted to give a surprise for you guys. I’m not 100 percent but I think I can help the team.”
Good to see he's been cleared to play. However, if he's not quite at 100 percent, I don't see the reason to play him just yet, given the way we've been playing lately.
