I tend to agree but there was a lot of that sentiment when Dockett was let walk too. Better a year early than late and saddled with a big contract. I remember Richard Seymour going from excellent to a bum in about a year's time.
Campbells better than dockett ever was. He's the Justin Smith of this generation.

Bethel is terrible playing cb
This year had several bad games, even bruce arians called him out
"Failure in progress"
And now for a insignificant game against the mediocre rams u talk about his improvements , after he displayed poor performances in several games?

He is not worth the salary he get, no way they will keep him at that salary

I think CC is better than Justin Smith. Just Dlinemen seem to fall off a cliff instead of slowly decline. I want the Cards to keep Campbell but I don't think they can get locked into the long term contract with him that some team is likely to offer.

Want to bet? He had a foot injury that finally got better at the end of the season. I'm not saying he is a shut down corner but he could be a very good #2 CB or slot CB. BASK are not giving up on him this year.

He was solid for three years in Oakland.

They're not giving up on him this year, but he's always been a tease as a corner. You can't depend on him, particularly on the outside.

He's a sixth-year player at this point. Generally, you don't become a solid starting corner after being garbage up to your prime.

He has been a tease thus far and his lack of ball awareness is still a concern but he did have some PD's against the Seahawks so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It's fascinating to me that an athlete can be fantastic as a gunner on ST's but not at least be good as a CB. Bethel has crazy athletic ability but at times struggles in space with coverage. Looked to me he improved at the end of last year but I appear to be in the minority on ASFN.

Not arguing, but it's difficult to be consistent at the most exposed position on the field with the rules overtly favoring the WR's. Especially with injuries hindering the development and veterans playing ahead of you. He's a 6th Rd. small school pick. Maybe his best years are ahead. But I wouldn't bet the house either. ;)
