It may not be the Thrilla in Manila, but the last regular season game for the Cards and 49ers will be an epic battle for the basement in the NFC West - particularly given how the 49ers are putting up a good fight against the Lions tonight. If the 49ers manage to win tonight (and even if they don't), I wonder if they will be the betting favorite as we get closer to Sunday's game - even though it is a home game for the Cards. Interesting, very interesting!

gonna be tough

niners tanking for a better draft pick versus our totally inept offense and undermanned defense

aint even gonna try to call this game...we probably gonna see three or four players continue the trend of dropping the ball at the goal line...oops, fumble

Holy hell, if we lose we finish 7-10... we were 6-4 headed into the bye. I don't know how much more of this team I can take, brethren. We need a miracle for this franchise to be pulled from the mud.
If we lose, any talk of progress is utter bull puckey. Hell, it's not much better even if we win. This is catastrophic. All this nonsensical talk of building the culture instead of actual talent is right out the window. The only culture here is losing.

Dobbs will most likely be the starting qb for the Niners on Sunday as Purdy has an elbow injury. Would be dumb to start him.

Purdy will be out. They likely don’t risk Bosa. I don’t think it dramatically impacts the Cards draft targets. Still who knows how the Cards’ players approach the game.
