Did anyone else notice that Beanie was in on multiple pass plays, and did an excellent job picking up the blitz on a few occasions? Plus, you didn't see any pressure/sacks when he tried to block. Man, that was a wonderful sight to see. He just keeps getting better and better.
I agree, although early in the game I was amazed by the crushing blow TIM-MAY delivered on a blitz pick up. I mean he knocked the blizter backwards.
Later in the game, I saw bennie stick his nose in there pretty good on a blitz pick up too. I was impressed, but I could not help but think that he was following TH's lead.
I'm a Bennie guy all the way. He reminds me of Otis Anderson, and I want him to be the starter because he looks like a special talent. Maybe, a VERY special talent (as in leading-the-league-in-rushing kind of talent).
But let's not undervalue what we have in TH ( and I think you've already posted this Stout). He's has great hands (generally), runs hard, is great in pass protection and is a viable option as a spot starter. He's young enough, talented enough, and hungry enough to keep Beenie motivated.
We're set at RB for a long time.
