Anybody else at least a little concerned that Beanie skipped Wednesday's practice to take care of personal business. Of all people, he needs to be at practice picking up the play book, learning the protections, working on ball security, etcetera IMO.

Making I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but I would hope he would be eager for all the practice reps he can get at this point.

Rookie running back Beanie Wells was excused from practice on Wednesday to attend to a personal matter.

The fact that he was excused is good enough for me. There should be no cause for concern.

No im not concerned. Give him the benefit of the doubt. Who knows what he had to attend to.

Not concerned, besides he has been working on all the stuff you said since he signed and that was awhile ago what has it got him, riding the bench in favor of TH, geesh!

He was excused for personal matters, who are we to complain about that?

If he was excused, then we can assume the personal matter was important enough that the coaches thought it was more important than practice. Hopefully nothing happened to any of his family members.

Have you never had an excused absence from work? Maybe he had a dentist appt. Or maybe STARPOWER was installing a new home theater system for him. The facility was empty by 1pm today anyways. Its Thursday before a bye.

The question should be what has it gotten the team! In pass pro he has almost got Kurt killed many times. I have no problem with the absense.

Beanie has been AWESOME! Running for 7+ yards per carry behind a garbage O line. Yea the 2 fumbles are a tough swallow, but he shows serious promise.

This one absence was excused and I'm betting if we heard it we'd all say that it was an acceptable reason.

Beanie has proven his worth.

How could that happen? Beanie hasn't played enough to have anything occur "many times".

I was thinking the same thing Duckjake not sure when these many times were, not to mention our Oline is much more risky of getting Kurt killed than a stud RB that could take some of the pressure off of Kurt and the Oline!!! That post gets the dumb post of the week award! Many times geesh what a joke.

Bad choice of words, my appologies. I should have said when in the limited times he has been in the backfield in pass pro he has almost gotten Kurt killed. He has missed more blocks than he has gotten right. And really as RB he will get it ( I hope ) but until then getting him carries is less important that keeping Kurt upright. That is my opinion anyway.

What about the fact Kurt wasn't UPRIGHT all night long? Shouldn't Wells havae gotten more carries just to try and slow the rush? I mean are you watching the same thing the rest of us are? Beanie needs to be getting the ball period keeping Kurt upright means we need a balanced attack not trying to throw 60 times a game!
