It's my fault. I should have never been talking about how awesome Beanie looked the latter part of last season.

My neighbor saw him at Ashley Furniture this weekend. He said his knee was wrapped up.

He Also said that Beanie was there with two other guys (His brothers I'm guessing?) who didn't help a bit. They were texting the entire time. My neighbor said Beanie picked out some stuff and the guys with him didn't even help him carry any of it. They were just glued to their cell phones texting away.

If I'm ever making the kind of Money Beanie makes..and someone sees me at Ashley-freaking- Furniture, just shoot me please.

Did they also see him perusing the local Kia dealers?

The bad thing for Beanie is the play he got hurt on was probably the best chance he had all preseason to bust off an impressive run, the guy just barely was able to get a hand on him but apparently hit him in the back of the knee and caused the injury(presumably when Beanie lost his footing and fell he tweaked it).

The angle I got showed the guy's helmet hitting Beanie right in the side of his knee.

The thing that scares me most about Beanie is he seems to be tackled more often than not low, his knees & ankles may take such a beating that it could shorten his career.

Especially with such skinny ankles and calves. :)

I am confident in Beanie. He is not as injury prone as others say. He is a MAN who runs with purpose. That was the only prob I had with Wiz's preseason, why was Beanie in when he got hurt? He is like a Terrell Davis, we can use that type of back.

Did Wells drop a bunch of weight from last season?

Not a bunch, but I think he came in around 215-220. 5-10lbs.

I thought so. He didn't look as big as last season. Didn't seem to run with the same power either or any quicker. May have been a mistake. We'll see.

Bob Kemp said that he came into camp 20 lbs lighter and claiming that he'd added speed. I haven't seen that yet on the field, though, and he's certainly not running with the power he had last season yet, either.

Thats what I thought. I could have swore it was said he lost 20 lbs.

And guys usually lose weight in camp, as well. Beanie may be 25 lbs lighter than he was last season. He may have been a little soft coming out of the draft, but I can't believe that you can lose 25 lbs without sacrificing some muscle.

But Beanie certainly looked big enough when I saw him at the Washington game, so who knows?

I dont know where these rumors are coming from.

Beanie lost 25lbs last year prior to camp. When we drafted him he weighed in at 247. I sincerely doubt the team would use a 1st round pick on a guy whom their S&C Coach thought was 50lbs or 20% of his total weight heavier than where he should be playing at. I also doubt Whis wants a 6-2 200 RB. Wells is listed at 229, which is 4lbs heavier than what he reported to camp at last year.

Well, maybe you're getting better information in Maryland than we're hearing from the guys who went to every training camp practice in Flagstaff.

I thought Wells came in at 235 not 225 and was concerned, when the announcer for the Washington game said that Wells had lost 20lbs, about BW playing at 215.
