They need to get him back in there. It was ok to sit him out a couple of series but mentally he needs to see the field again in this game. He is special and something we haven't seen in a while.

Get him in the game, the second by the way was just a great punch from behind by the defender. Can't let the kid sit on the bench when he clearly is our best RB!

I agree he needs to get back in. But he needs to fix that problem and hold onto the ball. He keeps fumbling it will be enough to sit him IMHO.

It seems like when he went back in the game he was a little tentative. I think he was so concerned about fumbling that he wasn't able to run naturally.

It's good that he revealed his fumble problem now instead of in a game where it would cost us. Now he knows what to work on.

I agree. He is going to be a stud RB but he MUST secure the ball. He killed one great drive after we converted a 4th down to keep the drive alive and almost killed the other one. I think he will overcome as I don't remember him having this problem in college.

BTW, Hightower had a really good game rushing after initial struggle. But he needs to lose that east-west runs.

We will have a stud and a really good RB!!

Yea. First fumble could have changed things, though. Second fumble the game was out of reach, but he needs to work on how he carries the ball, he's just asking to get it ripped out from behind everytime with the opening he leaves.

The game was NOT out of reach at 2nd fumble. Not even close it was still first freakin half.

I wonder if Beanie should consider wearing some rubber sleeves like Hightower and Edge? It was very humid today. Still there is no excuse. Beanie is SPECIAL!!

No game is ever out of reach if the Cards pass defense is involved.

Beanie would never fumble after being hit by one of our secondary players. He would just keep right on going to the end zone and then tell the guys on the bench it felt like there were some gnats on the field.

He sure looks good out there. I love his vision and decisivness.

However I do have real concerns about ball safety when he runs the rock. He's been lucky with the fumbles he has had up until today. The quickest way to get in a coaches doghouse is to turn the ball over.

Duck, you and I know them too well. When we aren't getting any pass rush our secondary really blows and having to blitz exposes them even more. We will have to play lights out defense this Sunday night.

They showed him on the sidelines wiping sweat away from his arms after his fumble as though that is why Wells thinks he fumbled it. I get nervous everytime a Cardinal is running with the ball and I can see a defender closing the gap from behind. You just know they are going to take a swipe at the ball.

I really like how easy Wells is making this look so far, but I am with you, if you can't hold onto the ball I don't want you on the field.

I sure wish our blitzes worked better it almost looks like we bring 7 and they block them with 5.

When was the last time we had a coverage sack once we get a big lead or with the game on the line? I know we've had some but they are so infrequent its hard to remember them.

Really glad though that the arena league offense was on today. Huge win on the road. Now we need a STATEMENT win next week vs Colts.

ADub gave Beanie a present after the second fumble.....a ball with "Beanie" written on it and told him he better not put it down all week. That message couldnt come from a better player....ADub means business!

FWIW.....Adrian Peterson put it on the ground 4 times his rookie year. Sometimes, its the rookie jitters, especially when you are highly touted out of college. I fully expect the problem to be corrected quickly.

EDIT: although he did have 9 fumbles last season.

If wells ever start producing like AP I'll overlook fumbling. But until then?

Beanie looks like he can be an exciting player. But he's got to hold on to the rock. He put it on the ground 50% of the time by the time he dropped the second one.

Unacceptable. I'm actually surprised he got put back in the game.

It's all part of his evolution. It would reason it's going to be hammered into him this week and he'll be fine. Peterson has a similar running style and it leaves guys prone to putting the ball on the turf. Even if the fumbles happen from time to time, like AP, it's only a matter of time before the good FAR outweighs the bad.

Did you see how different he looked gliding through the holes then any back we have EVER had?!?

Sweet Georgia Brown you can't teach what that boys got. It's very exciting only 2 games in, that's for sure.....
