It will be interesting to see if we can finally find a way to play with some intensity on the road. As were nearing the home strech of the season many things hang in the balance. A string of decently played games will throw the whole Mac/ Manning conjecture into a tail spin. Personally I think we give this coaching staff and roster( with a few additions) one more year.
That being said I believe that the leaders of this team wont allow for another Cleveland style meltdown. Our D will continue to play loose(finally) and our O line will grind out some tough yards. The differnce will be (IMHO) special teams play.
Bye Bye Eli

I think we will win this one. Our new kicker is the key.

Shipp runs for 110 and Boldin gets 125 receiving,

Cards win 22-14

This is the type of game the Cards usually step up and win. A game against an opponent who is as bad as the Cards (not worse), and may very well be in the running for one of the highest draft picks in the upcoming draft. Beating the Bears has no positive effect, but may give the false impression that there does not need to be wholesale changes made. Also, a win may very well move the Cards away from one of the franchise players in the upcoming draft.

At this point, a win is meaningless, and there is no pressure on the Cards.

Therefore, the Cards win 24 - 17.:)

The road hex ends. Shipp and Emmitt run for 200 yards, Q gets a TD and the D continues their progress. Cards prevail 23-13.

Well, we've been blown out by mediocre teams all year. I think we'll at least get a safety and boldin breaks 100 yards again.

Bad weather and mcGinnis and Shoop out-conservating each other will make this a 13-10 or 9-7 game. The kind we can win.

Cards 10-6 over the Bears.

Road game + injured starting corner + running QB = Bears 27, Cards 10

Ronnie Mac gets exposed as being one-dimensional as the Bears crossing routes kill the Cards over the middle, as well as ultra-quick Kordell Steward rushes for 65 yards and a TD. Levar Fisher does get a pick, and does a dance that has the announces calling him a Wildman, to the delight of all.

Rackers plays superb, and so do Quan, Shipp, special teams and the defense. But the 4 picks between Blake and Kordell makes the game very competitive.

Bears 24

Old old rivalry that I see us winning Cards 23 Bears 20.

In looking at our draft order it is hopeless to get the number one pick we simply have too strong a schedule. We would have to lose all the rest and all the 2-9 teams would have to win two more so it really just dosen't matter and we might as well win this game.

Tying anyone of the 2-9 teams if they won one more game would just give the pick to them since they have a weaker schedule and can't catch that up. We have a really strong schedule it appears.

If the Bears are ahead of the Cards in the draft, it's not a big deal if considering Eli Manning since they think they have their future quarterback...

If it's not a close game, the Bears beat the Cards...38-7

But I think the Card's actually smash the Bears like little Cubbies, with the offense finally learning how to flatten the opposing defense like pancakes, with the score close at 24-17...

Madrob, love the avatar...Spy vs. Spy was awesome.

You're wrong about Chicago, though. Granted, they won't take Manning, but the problem is, they might trade out of the pick if they're offered the house and let another team jump us. It's likely a team will want to trade up to get him.

I think the Bears really want one of the really high D-linemen...
