Every week, the Beaver County Times will recognize both individual athletes and teams for their impressive performances that took place in the previous week of high school sports action. Here are the standout efforts from March 16-22.
Hayes kicked off the week going 2-for-3 while driving in a run in the team’s 10-1 win over Shenango. Then on Tuesday, Hayes went 1-for-4 with 3 RBIs in the team’s 14-0 win over Hopewell.
Garvin began the week with a 3-for-3 effort hitting a run home in the team’s win over Shenango before collecting another hit and RBI against Hopewell.
Hare was dominant on the bump as he struck out 14 in six innings of work allowing one run against Shenango.
Lucarelli was 1-for-1 with two RBIs while also tossing four innings, punching out nine batters in the team’s win over Hopewell.

Meyer went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs while also hitting a home run against Hopewell.
Kagle put together a strong week offensively starting the week going 2-for-4 with 5 RBIs with a grand slam against Ambridge. Then on Wednesday, he went 3-for-4 with another home run, double and driving in four runs in the loss against Central Valley. Kagle capped off the week with a walk-off double in an 8-7 win over OLSH.
Leseiko began the week with a three-hit, three RBI effort while pitching three innings, fanning seven and allowing just one earned run against Quaker Valley.
Fernandez went 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs in the team’s game against Quaker Valley.
Mills collected two hits and two RBIs in the team’s 11-4 win over Freedom Area. He followed that game up with another hit and five RBIs against New Brighton before finishing off the week with a two-hit performance and drove a run home in the team’s 8-3 win over West Allegheny.
After striking out six in 4.1 innings of work, Nardone went 1-for-4 with two RBIs against West Allegheny.
Sebek went 3-for-5 with four RBIs hitting a grand slam in the team’s 11-4 win over Chartiers Valley. He finished the week with three hits and three RBIs in the team’s 15-5 win over Armstrong.
Hill collected two hits to go along with five RBIs against Armstrong.
McIntosh went 2-for-2 with six RBIs in the team’s 13-7 win over Quaker Valley.
Hudac went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the team’s 8-7 loss to Quaker Valley.
Springman was 2-for-5 with two RBIs to begin the week in the team’s 9-6 win over South Fayette. She followed that game up going 2-for-2 in the team’s 14-4 win over Montour.
Young put together two strong performances in the circle going a complete game striking out six against South Fayette and then going six innings striking out five against Montour.
Peabody went 4-for-5 with six RBIs with a home run and double in the win over Montour.

After a 4-for-5 performance with a walk-off single against Hopewell, Hysong singled in a run against Chartiers Valley on Thursday in the loss.
McQuiston pitched a complete game one hitter against South Side striking out six before striking out another eight when facing Riverside on Friday.
Beck went a perfect 3-for-3 with 2 RBIs in the team’s 5-0 win over South Side.
Lambert hit two triples to go along with 4 RBIs in the team’s 24-17 loss to Cornell.
Wall hit a home run with two RBIs in the team’s loss to Cornell.
Wall hit a double with three RBIs in the team’s loss to Cornell.
Keber went 3-for-5 with three RBIs in the team’s 10-6 win over Penn Hills Friday.
Davis was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the team’s game against Ambridge.
Sprott recorded 19 kills and four blocks in the team’s four-set win over Hopewell.

Enos tallied 12 kills and 22 digs in the win over Hopewell.
Fair recorded six goals in the team’s 22-1 win over Seneca Valley
Kinger posted four goals and five assists against Seneca Valley.
Pagani tallied a hat-trick with four assists against Seneca Valley.
Ilko scored nine goals to go along with three assists in the team’s 17-4 win over West Allegheny.
Larimore recorded five goals and one assist against West Allegheny.

Springman was 2-for-5 with two RBIs to begin the week in the team’s 9-6 win over South Fayette. She followed that game up going 2-for-2 in the team’s 14-4 win over Montour.
