Keim drafts Reddicks/ Coopers with these picks. I would take Beckham for that, just on the fact Keim sucks at the draft and Fitz is going to be gone. OBJ, Fits and DJ you guys are crazy, to not want that

People also forget that the reason why draft picks are so valuable is because of the low salaries that these picks command. You have to pay the picks for the player,(trade) AND pay huge salaries for these stars. You can see why some franchises don't want to do this at all, let alone for primadonnas like OBJ.

OBJ has only been around 4 years, and Larry is gone any season. I know it wont happen, but OBJ is a beast when you have a chance for a Superstar you take it

Not when you don't have a QB. If he isn't happy in New York with Eli, how happy do you think he would be here with TBD as our QB?

The part many forget with this trade is adding 15-20M in cap space to the draft picks. Is OBJ better bet to out produce a couple draft picks. Yeah. Add the production of a 15-20M player with those draft picks and that's a whole different argument.

A team like the Saints would make the most sense to me. They know they have a short window with Brees. Wow that offense would be amazing!

He wants more money, not unhappy with Eli, Nobody is happy in New York
Yeah because Odell throwing up his hands during plays when he was not targeted last year was because he was cool with spreading the ball around.

Look, Odell is a premium WR, and premium WRs want to be targeted by decent QBs. Even Larry crushes the Cardinals when he talks about the years between Warner and Palmer. If a stand up guy like Larry does that, you have to know what Odell would do. Without a topend QB, Odell doesn't matter.

That is a reasonable ask. May be they settle for and first rounder and a second rounder this year and a fourth next year?

No position is more reliable on other positions to their job than WR. And we’re not only trading the house but giving him a 100+M deal to be thrown the ball by Sam Bradford for 4 games and Mike Glennon for 12?

of course they are...............

bright side is... even if they get OBJ,... they can still be out coached

my guess is,...all these moves are not solely about being relevant but also geared towards ramping up excitement to sell tickets... L.A. has not exactly stumbled over themselves to welcome the rams back..

How is it different from paying Fitz?

Larry is already a Cardinal and will not cost draft picks to keep on the team.

Didn't cardinals spend a top 5 pick on Fitz and pay him despite no QBs for a good 7 years of his Cardinals life?

Exactly, Id rather money go to Beckham a Elite player at his position, than a Million dollars to Cousins, Hes not even a top 10 QB. Cards will land a QB

This is disingenuous and you know it.

If they trade for OBJ, they will have added 4 of the biggest head cases in the league along with Suh, Talib, and Peters. It can work for one season, but these players will go sideways at some point.

And completely dismantle their cap space after the train wreck

I just don’t see how all of these Rams players will fit under the salary cap.
Goff and Gurley are on their rookie contracts. It'll be cap hell when they come up for renegotiation.

Do the Rams have much depth?

Although I would like to see OBJ on the other side from Fitz there is no way we can afford him this year, plus giving up two number ones. That is way too expensive for the Cards blood. Hell there are players every year we can get if we want to spend the money but we never do. N. Suh was just there to get and all it would have taken was money but we didn't get him.

They have more cap space than we do next year and Goff/Gurley have 2-3 years left of rookie cap hits. They can front load Donald’s deal and look good when the other guys come up. Suh and Talib are basically 1-yr deals.

do you honestly think they would have if his godfather wasnt running our drafts at the time? I mean, it obviously paid off, look at all the Lombardy trophies we have accumulated with our HoF WR

amazing how some folks dont want to give up a few #1's at a shot for a long term franchise QB but would be willing to give up a pair of top picks for a headcase wr with nobody to throw to him.

I hope the rams do get him. When is the last time a team ‘went for it’ and was successful?

Didn’t Philly have the dream team a few years ago? How’d that work out?

and outside of when we had Warner and the two good Palmer years, doing so hasn't really helped our team much has it?
