If Rod Graves is serious about building the team with multiple "belly" players, surrounded by a few marquee guys...then this is the plan he should follow:

In my humble opinion of course!

Defense:

Sign two RFA's
LB - Naill Diggs - GB - 4th rd pick
LB/DE - Clark Haggan - Pit - 5th rd pick.

Sign FA's:
LB/DE Roosevelt Colvin
CB - Denard Walker
FS - Dexter Jackson

Offense:

Sign FA's
WR - Derrius Thompson - Was
WR - Curtis Conway - SD
FB - Jon Ritchie or James Hodgins
QB - Jeff Blake
RB - Emmit Smith

Draft:
QB - Byron Leftwich Rd 1
WR - Kelly Washington Rd 2
OC - Al Johnson Rd 3

We have 35 million to spend, not 135. A bit ambitious but I like the blueprint.

That a rather long wish list. I'm sorry to say, but the cards have never signed any where near that many FA's. Last year they only signed two, and the year before they signed only Kendall. They are used to losing twice as many guys as they sign. I hope thats not the case though.

Since Washington was cleared by all the teams doctors he has moved back into the 1st round.. I would still rather pas on him and take someone like Roy or Reggie Williams next year!
