Denver has serious cap issues that will not allow them to sign Berry. Our fears should be with the Cowboys. Berry grew up a diehard Cowboys fan & they are selling him not only $$$, but a legitimate shot at a Super Bowl ring THIS YEAR. I personally think this situation could be a watershed moment for this franchise. Green's influence is the ONLY reason why we have a shot here. I'm NOT a FA fan. I believe that 75% of free agents are a terrible waste of money. Build through the draft, develop your own players, & extend contracts once you know what you have. I can't wait to laugh at the Redskins & Eagles. Kearse WILL NOT be the freak that the Eagles expect. He'll be injured, just mark my words.

I get what you are saying, but i dont think Dallas gave him an offer that he liked. IMO if they would have gave him an offer that was comparable to Denvers he wouldnt have left Dallas at all, becaseu of the reason you stated. Plus I think Dallas wants him to play LB instead of DE. Parrcells doesnt like small dlinemen, and Berry doesnt want to play LB.

My heart skipped a beat too! If we lose Berry then we need to trade for Ogunleye or make a serious run at Marcellus Wiley.

I really don't like the title of this thread, even though I know what it is about.
