I have been saying this for years. That the oppourtunity in Arizona is like nothing you can find any where else. That when this team turned around, had success, and started to win big gams (they got one more to go). That it will mean more than the yearly glory that is bestowed on a team.

Berry understands there will never be another "first" that his name along with his teammates names will be remembered forever in football history. The team that turned the Cardinals into winners. Just like the 70's Steelers that finally turned things around in Pittsburg. Take into account the Cardinals are the OLDEST football club/organization in the country, it makes it significant.

“For me, I saw this as a great opportunity,” Berry said. “I thought if we could get to this point right now, they’d remember us forever.”

“Anybody can plug into an established program and win a Super Bowl ring and everything is fine,” Berry said. “I wanted to do something that people would talk about for years and years and years. Now we are in a position where we can get people to talk about us.”

Furthermore, Berry deserves to be center stage. He gave up money to stay for the Cardinals for football glory. Gotta respect that.

How people cannot like/love this team is beyond me!!!!

On a side note I would have to say the Steeler fans have been some of the most respectful and football knowledgeable fans I've seen visit our board...
