The Cowboys had a worse player in Doug Free on their line and they were the best unit in football last year. Veldheer is a player who can be part of a very good offensive line. You don't just toss that away. We are far better off with a trio of Veldheer, Humphries, and Wetzel, than we are with just Humpries and Wetzel and a mystery player who we hope is as good as Veldheer.

Haha! Yes, but what I was saying is that mystery box could contain CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. If we can't make a deal like that, then I want to keep Veldheer.

Veldheer: 2017 Base: $6.5; DM: $3.8
DRC: 2017 Base: $6.8; DM: $4.0

The Giants need a tackle and the Cardinals need a CB. Win-win, imo.

My point was trading JV for a draft pick. If we got Ramczyk, would we be better with CC, Dj Swearinger, and Tony Jefferson verses JV with no CC and TJ? I think we would be better with Ramczyk, CC, DJ , and TJ.

I'm liking more and more CB with a trade down in the 1st and picking up an extra 2nd. That's unless one of the top two safties are available Hooker or Adams. In the 2nd I'd like to target Cooper Kupp - WR and Raekwon McMillan - ILB. Back up plan would be taking Feeney, Lamp, Dawkins or Johnson at G. There will be a bevy of WR and TE prospects in the 3rd Rd. for us as well.

Lets see how FA plays out.

I think Chad Kelly or CJ Bethard are worth kicking the tires on in like the 4th Rd. possibly.
