I loved the album until "Gone Daddy Gone" hit the radio. It's so Summer of '06.

It should also be noted that I said that would be the second single.

4: Gone Daddy Gone: Amazing song. Cover of the Violent Femmes. Great drum beats, awesome vocals. Will be a commercial song. I played it once for my wife and then it came back on and she said "I know that song." After one listen. My kids hear it and start dancing, a 5 year old and a 3 year old. They dig it. Corporate faces will dig it. I can't say enough about how sick the drum beats are on this one. Hip Rock. Awesome. It will be great in clubs. While typing this, I played it back a second time. Second single from the album, I'm calling my shot. It just begs to be played. 2nd favorite cut on the album, and it's not my usual style.

I'm still waiting for my favorite song on the album to be released:

8: Just a Thought: Effing great song....right now one of my favorites of not just this album but of all that is out right now. Beat is disgustingly sick...drums are wicked. Dangermouse pulled out all the stops on this one. Cee Lo provides the best vocals ever on this one...it's amazing. I can't gush enough about this track. Will be the third single. It's beats are again...DISGUSTINGLY GOOD. Another one that when listening as I type that I re-played because it is that good. I love the way Cee puts aggression on the word "aggression" in the lyrics, when the whole song doesn't have it...it adds so much. I am in deep love with this song. It is in my head when I wake up...yep. That good. Did I mention the beat?

i was pleasantly surprised by this album. i really, really don't care for the white stripes, so my initial pull was against this.

Im all over Jack Whites jock, cause I think he's a total effin genius, so I own all White Stripes records, but Meg White is a total drag. Talentless. No drum skills at all, barely holds it together.

If you want to check out some other amazing Jack White work, check out the production he did on Loretta Lynn's last album, Van Lear Rose. Its probably the best Country record of the last decade, though its more old school C and W than all this new style crap. In fact, the back up band for Loretta's album are the rhythm section in.... The Raconteurs.

I honestly cant think of anything.. A few songs here and there, but not a complete cd.. If I had to pick one it would prolly be the Game "Doctors Advocate"...

Eh, I mostly play my cd's from the 90's most the time now anyways..
