Of the playoff underdogs currently tied 2-2, which has the best chance to win their series?

(Yes, I consider the Lakers the favorite over Minnesota.)

Hello? It doesn't matter what you consider to be an underdog. An underdog is created by their seeding. The Lakers are the underdog in their series with the T-Wolves.

Go Lakers!!
Go Suns!! (1st Round)

Wrong-o...Lakers are the champs, and anyone playing them will always be the underdog until they are dethroned.

Magic over the Pistons or maybe the Celtics over the Pacers.

The question specifies series that are tied 2-2.

Hello? Excuse me for not accepting your personalized definition of "underdog." Look in a dictionary.

Don't need to.

In the playoffs, teams are seeded.

The lower seed is TECHNICALLY the underdog.

They have fewer regular season wins and do not get home court advantage in their series.

By seeding, the Lakers ARE the underdog. That is not my opinion, it's a fact.

Using your logic, some people could call San Antonio the underdog. Since the Suns always play them well and beat them in the reg season series (3-1) I believe.

un·der·dog ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ndr-dô*, -dg)
n.
1. One that is expected to lose a contest or struggle, as in sports or politics.
2. One that is at a disadvantage.

The Lakers don't qualify under either one of those definitions.

Just for kicks:

Underdog (noun) - One that is at a disadvantage.

Who has the home court advantage?

You're saying that home court alone gives Minnesota the advantage over the Lakers? That is laughable! :D

All I am saying is the Lakers, by virtue of being a lower seed and having to win at least one on the road, are the underdog.

Personally, as a Lakers' fan, I believe everyone is an underdog to my team. That's my heart talking and not the facts.

Factually, the Lakers are the underdog.

Eric all but admitted that when he felt the need to clarify his poll questions with this: (Yes, I consider the Lakers the favorite over Minnesota.)

He was basically saying "I know that technically the Lakers are the underdog in this series, but almost nobody, myself included, feels they shouldn't win this series."

The rest is an argument in semantics by a diehard Lakers fan on a slow Monday.

BIM, the only reason you're fighting to prove the Lakers are the underdogs (which they aren't), is so you have an excuse if they lose to the T-wolves.

:)

You have some serious issues with reading comprehension if you really believe that.

I issued the clarification because I figured someone would launch the same idiotic argument that you have launched, and I was trying to head it off. Obviously I failed.

Why don't you ask Vegas oddsmakers who the "underdog" is?

DOOD!

You are talking about the LAKERS vs the Wolves! The underdog is very clear there....

There is a reason everyone is so impressed at how good the WOLVES have done sofar, and everyone is trashing on the Lakers...

Oh my God, you're right. The word "advantage"(or a derivitive of it) is being used in both phrases! The Lakers are the underdogs. The perception of the majority of the population has nothing to do with this. It's all about the seeding. The Pistons, therefore, have a really good chance of beating the Kings in the finals! I mean, look at the seeding! The Kings would be the underdogs!*

Brian, just so you know, being a Laker fan already makes you evil enough. You don't have to give it a physical manifestation by using a picture of Darth Maul.

Sarcasm is fine, but next time try and get the facts right.

The 1 through 8 seedings are for each Conference and do not carry over to the Finals.

You used Detroit and Sacramento. Detroit is 50-32. Sacramento is 59-23. If they met in the Finals, Sacramento, with the better record, would receive the home court advantage and be favored to win the series. Detroit would be the underdog.

Nice try though.
