Keeping along with the theme of great actors. Here is another one, who has rarely accepted a bad movie role.

Again I am limiting the poll to 10 choices.

I havent seen Crimson Tide or malcolm X, so I voted for Training Day. I also liked him in Man on Fire. I like Denzel when his character is deeply flawed.

You missed arguably 2 of his best movies.

Crimson Tide/The Siege are my favorite Denzel movies. I may go against the grain here.

Wow, I don't know what to pick. Glory it is, although I really wanted to pick Philadelphia.

I went with Training Day, but I may have chosen Man on Fire if it would have been on the list.

Indeed. John Q was the last, (and only movie) where tears were practically rolling down my face.

He was in Coach Carter wasn't he? I haven't seen many of those movies but I really like Remember the Titans out of those.

A lot of people don't realize this, as Denzel was not officially credited with the role, so I'm not surprised the movie isn't listed in the poll but by far Denzel's finest preformance came in Soul Man.

When C. Thomas Howell's character poses as a black man, Denzel plays the character--not, as many believe, C. Thomas Howell. He's so brilliant you think it's Howell.

It's true. Google it.

It is not in the poll, because I dont think that it is even close to some of the other movies in the list.

I must be the only person who thinks that Denzel Washington is the most overrated actor on the planet. The only performance I have ever seen of his where he wasn't playing the same guy was Training Day, so I guess that gets my vote.

Wow, you are right! You must be the only person.

I am looking at Denzel's filmography, and the only questionable movie that he was in, was Fallen. Even his performance in that was decent.
