The Mask?

it's because of Eurobasket 07, when he play with mask because of injury. It's on youtube, a can't post link, because I need 20 posts to post links.

All other players are Slovenian, that have ever played in NBA (Marko Milic also in Phoenix 1997 or 1998, but just sitting on bench)

I still don't get it.

I hope you reconsider starting topics before you hit that lovely 20 post mark.

No, I totally get "the mask" reference. I got it from the first post. I dont get why the hell you started this thread. It's incorrect, biased, and pointless.

This spot was supposed to be used for the obligatory "welcome to the boards" comment, but i will be cashing in my "cut it out or leave" comment instead.

Sadly this could have been a good thread. However, I believe the subject has been covered many times over.

No way.

Magic
Jordan
Robertson
Duncan
Russell

Others who could easily be there: Chamberlain, either of the Malones, Maravich, Dr. J, etc.

IMO, you have to insert Kareem for Russell. I grew up watching Russell and the Celtics. He indeed was a great defender and a great player. He could negate Chamberlain but Kareem was so agile at at 7'4" it would be almost impossible to defend him. Kareem could always use the skyhook to defeat any defense. Also Kareem used to be a great defender as well altering most any shot near the lane. I think because Kareem had such a long career it gets lost how good he was when young. On your list (if this were playground basketball), I would chose Kareem first of all the players you mentioned.

Be nicer to this guy. This board is boring and right now we need more quality posters. Andrew can't do it alone!

fair enough, kareem could easily be there. but russell led the celtics to 8 straight titles. i think for his winning attitude alone he deserves to be there. i can't believe i forgot to mention kareem, though. he is definitely among the top 10 all time

Jerry West, too.

i like that you included Oscar Robertson. Although he and the two MJ's primarily played Guard, the Big O averaged a triple-double for a season.

Chris Paul
MJ
Bird
Duncan
Shaq

It might sound ridiculous, I think Paul's last season was the greatest season ever by a PG and he is on track of a similar season.

Post padding alert!!!

most skilled (pound for pound, i guess):

pg - the big o
sg - jordan
sf - ?
pf - duncan
c - olajuwon/kareem

but i'll take these guys all day:

pg - magic
sg - jordan
sf - lebron (assuming he plays at this level for the next couple years)
pf - malone
c - shaq (Prime)

with the exception of jordan probably, my lineup consists of players who can manhandle their counterparts...

booyah!
