I happen to disagree. I do not think Boozer is in the class of those guys, particularily Amare, Bosh, and Howard.

I don't think 17.8 pts, 9.0 reb is a worse record.

Boozer can't improve due to his height, but his skills is the best from these four PF(I agree that they must better than Boozer in next season).

I agree, Boozer should definitely be a candidate. What's the point of a poll if you eliminate reasonable options? If people don't think he belongs, they can vote for someone else.

I'd have Brand on the list as well. But of course the winner should be Stoudemire; he has shown the most so far and should also have the greatest potential for improvement.

True, but if we extended it to 5 years Howard might take it. He is on the same learning curve as Amare, a year younger than Amare was too.

Wow, it's a landslide...

I thought Howard would merit some votes - I voted Stoudemire, but I think Howard could surpass him. The kid is 6'11" already, with freakishly broad shoulders and ripped arms. He's putting up 20 rebound games multiple times at 19 years old. If he polishes his offensive games, he could be a monster in a few years. Perhaps a step below Amare offensively, but far superior in rebounding and shot blocking.

I didn't put Boozer on this list because to me he is not in these guys league talent-wise. He is a 20-10 guy but his potential seems maximized, and he isn't a go-to guy or a defensive intimidator. He reminds me of a young Vin Baker.

Just because Ben Wallace can rebound like crazy, does that make him better than Amare Stoudemire?

Amare had some great rebounding games when he first came out too, then he fell in love with scoring.

I went with Howard because he is a better rebounder right now than Amare is, and I think Howard's scoring will get there.

I think it's easier for Amare to improve his rebounding than it is for Howard to improve his scoring (especially if he's stuck with franchise on his team). We've all heard the adage that rebounding is all about effort. If that switch ever turns on for Amare, I think he could easily average 25-10 over his career.

Granted I haven't seen Howard play all that much but I don't think he'll be able to reach that level. Bosh, however could. I've seen him play a few times and I really like his game. It was a tough call between Bosh and Stoudemire but in the end Stoudemire gets my vote because of the vast improvement he's shown in his game already.

Look, when you've got a bunch of guys with endless potential, I'll take the aggressive, hard working, cocky one every time.

you can;t really go wrong with either Amare or Howard IMO - Howard's only averaging 2 points a game less than Amare his rookie year, is shooting better from the field his rookie year and is boarding better - gotta give him another year or two to see if he can elevate his offensive game the way Stouds has done so impressively.

Ask me this question in two years and you'll have a better answer.
