There are a lot of accusations and implications being made here. None of us knows why he doesn’t want the Cardinals but we have 4 pages here discussing race, rather than the pros/cons of each candidate. Maybe he doesn’t like the Arizona for a variety of reasons with none of them having to do with race. People are so quick so get off track and on the race bandwagon! So very frustrating
4 Pages? Wow, you'd think it was because Mitch gave an opinion.

So Pederson got to call the second halves of 11 games. That’s his full extent? And the second link didn’t work. What did it say about Nagy? If it’s similar it certainly is another differentiator, but Pederson’s experience wasn’t exactly much in this regard. And are we certain bieniemy has none? I haven’t seen anything in writing on that I think we may all be assuming this at this juncture. I know I am.

Maybe Andy Reid provided guidance that EB shouldn't bother with the Cardinals.

McCarthy had no interest. Lame duck GM and bad roster is why this job is at the bottom with Cincinnati

This isn't a big deal on its own, but two candidates turning down first interviews isn't a great sign for the desirability of this job. Munchak turned down a second interview last year, too. Turning down interviews is not something I hear about a lot for other teams, but it seems to happen to us fairly frequently.

It's a double edged sword. Teams aren't patient enough to give a coach 4 or 5 years to build a team so coaches aren't going to put themselves into a situation like ours where it's such a mess that it's going to take more than 2 years to right this ship. I remember Bill Bidwill telling Joe Bugel he had a few seasons to make this team a winner even though the team's star QB was forced into retirement then his heir apparent blew out his knee and just when it looked like this team was about to turn a corner, Bidwill fired him, brought in Buddy Ryan, and set this team back another 2 or 3 years.

Good grief... McCarthy wants to be close to his boys in GB and Bienemy didn’t want a 5th interview on his off weekend. Why is this an indictment on the Cards or a race issue?

Unfortunately I’m beginning to despise half the people in this country because all they seemingly want is to pick a fight. I’m sure the other half feel the same way about me.

I would dismiss Munchak...IIRC, he didn't have any other interviews lined up, so it's not like he spurned the Cards for another open job.

Since national media wants to stir the pot let's see them report how many HC interviews Wilks gets.
