Chriss or Bender plus the Milwaukee pick and maybe a protected future Suns first is the most I would do. No problem adding Chandler or Dudley if needed.
Yes yes a thousands times yes. None of our young studs.

I'd take Love for Warren and some filler but Warren would be the best player I send. No way am I trading Jackson for anyone not named Lillard.

Typical Gambo, but to be honest if I was management I wouldn't be leaking anything to some local radio guy. I think national guys like Woj or Stein will know more than Gambo because they would have more national sources. Unless I see something from Woj or Stein or Shams there is nothing despite what Gambo thinks or says.

I've definitely lost confidence in what Gambadoro reports.

Would a team like
PG.Lilliard/Knight
SG. Booker/Reed
SF. Ariza/Bridges
PF. Love/ Bender
C. Chandler/Ayton

Compete with Golden state?

You’re starting chandler over Ayton???

And I think yes, it could compete. Win? Not likely. But compete. You e got two all stars in Lilliard and love. Two likely soon to be all stars in booker and Ayton. And two really good role players in ariza and Bridges. Good size and length and 3 point shooting.

That team would get swept by Golden state. Stop with the whole "compete with Golden State" stuff. Let's compete for a playoff spot, make playoffs, win a round or two before we start talking about competing with Golden State.

Only as development. Chandler is still affective

Love is better than he showed in Cleveland. It's kind of the same thing that happened to Bosh. Lebron likes a big man on defense to clean up the boards but on offense he wants that big man out of the paint so he can have space.

Bosh and Love had to completely alter there games and both have talked about it. Love is still really good and I'd take him in a heart beat for the right price and that price doesn't include Jackson

Exactly. We would be crazy to trade jackson for Love. Warren on the other hand I would be happy to do.

Maybe next year. Not this year.

Ayton is Raw, Booker and Bridges need more experience

I would only trade Warren for Love if all options had been explored to bring in a PG for TJ instead. We don't need a PF like Love nearly as much as a competent veteran PG. Even if all options have been explored I'm still not crazy about adding Love to this team.

I agree. I would be far more interested in George Hill than Kevin Love if we are looking to deal with the Cavs.

agreed. Love does nothing for me. Negative nothing in fact. Giving up assets for that slow, plodding chronically injured stat padder is a bad idea.

Get a PG. Keep the powder dry for next year. Keep building. Slow and steady is going to win this race.

I like Hill a lot more for this team... but I just looked up his contract and he's owed 37 mil over 2 years.

So, there goes that fancy.

Ariza, Chandler, Daniels, and Dudley pay for Booker's raise and Hill's salary. Nobody else is coming up for extensions in the next couple of years. You can probably shed Warren and someone else in the deal for Hill.

Yeah, but it takes us completely out of the free agent market next year when better options than Hill would be available. It's pretty clear they've geared a lot of stuff to be flexible next year.

Unless it's for a star I'm pretty certain we're not trading for anyone owed money beyond next season.

I think you are right. If it is a star, however, its like signing the free agent a year early. I have no problem trading for someone now, that we would sign next summer if we had the chance.

That's a fair point.

Hill’s last year is non-guaranteed for 1M but he sucks anyway.
Oh well, that changes things. I agree that he is not a high caliber guard, but he'd fit the bill of a stabilizing presence. Someone who can shoot, defend and take care of the ball.

Not sure what a trade for him would look like though. The salary matching aspects make it difficult, we'd probably have to do something like Dudley and Bender.

But they probably want him to ease what's his face from Alabama along.
