Randle was renounced. He's unrestricted now. I imagine he wanted multiple years and the Lakers we're not going to commit wanting to be players in free agency next off season.

RFA's have to be offered at least three year deals by rule I believe, unless they take the QO.

Is the combination of Love at PF and Ariza at his natural position of SF better for the Suns than Ariza at PF and Jackson at SF?

Based upon that, it sure sounds like it would for the Suns at this time. Add a skilled distributing lead Point Guard who is strong on defense and we have a complete starting 5, ready to compete seriously once chemistry is reached and a decent bench is worked out.

I just don’t understand the fit considering Ayton’s defensive shortcomings. Love is also very fragile with his concussions and back problems. I’ll go with fake news.

I seriously hope they do not trade for Love. We need a stretch 4 who plays good defense next to Ayton.

Chriss or Bender plus the Milwaukee pick and maybe a protected future Suns first is the most I would do. No problem adding Chandler or Dudley if needed.

Has Kevin Love EVER made a play like this?

Totally makes sense to trade this guy for one of the softest stars ever.

Bagley cuts his eye open with an elbow. JJ gets stitched up puts on the mask and does this.
I want that guy on my team.

In the old NBA Kevin Love would have been a dominant Power Forward. In the modern NBA he's just an above average stretch 4.

When he put up big numbers at Minnesota they lost. A LOT.

He's a plodder.

Ayton's got a little plodder in him. It's OK because he brings so much more to the table. Can't have 2 plodders on the floor at the same time.

No but quite honestly that’s not his job/role.

It would be like asking if Josh Jackson will ever hit half as many 3s as Love has in any one season. It’s not his job to do that.
