Tristian Thompson is not a max player, he is not even close to a max player, I don't think he is even a good player. The only thing he does well is rebound and he is not exactly elite in that category. 26th in total rebounding, 32nd in boards per minute (tied with our, not exactly board gobbling, Alex Len). Thompson is utterly useless on offense outside of a few feet from the hoop. Him and Chandler in the lane together would equal absolutely zero space for penetration.

He would be a dreadful fit on our team.

All of the theoreticals above seem to overlook one thing.

Markieff Morris does not want to be here.

With his immaturity and lack of self control, it will not be pretty.

And will negatively affect the rest of the roster, the coaches and the front office.

I don't think anyone has overlooked that... its the imputes for all the chatter the last few days.

How did you possibly reach the conclusion that everyone else was overlooking that?

A string of posts (above) analyzing Markieff Morris as a ballplayer, such as this one, rather than his having reached the point of malcontent. Although it does mention that we'd be better off without him.

I'm talking about fit, not skill when I say the Suns could well be better off without him. Markieff Morris is significantly more talented than Channing Frye, however the Suns were significantly better with Frye than with Morris. Frye was a better fit, he provided spacing and he didn't slow down the offense. I think Morris is more talented than Teletovic, but I think Teletovic, if healthy, will provide a lot of what Frye brought 2 years ago.

It is way past the point of analyzing Markieff Morris in terms of Frye or Teletovic playing Power Forward.

Morris does not want to be here! It is now only about his attitude.

This is highly likely but I have yet to hear it from Markieff's own lips.

The Suns best bet is to find multiple suitors for his services if they feel the situation is not salvageable. The legal situation is probably prolonging the outcome.

Uhh... give me a break BC, it was CLEARLY a conversation because we were looking at the alternatives of being without him... because he does not want to be here. I would hope that people are intuitive enough that posts don't have to rehash each step of the conversation in order to not make people think we're overlooking things... especially when it was the origin of the debate.

Delusional. I just hope we weren't perfect for each other.
