I'm switching back to Netflix. The turnaround time for getting movies back is too slow. With NF it seemed like it was one day to get there, same day turnaround and another to get it back.

I mailed 3 movies last Wednesday and still haven't gotten my new ones from BBO, yet. I know there was a holiday in there, but still.

I switched my queue over last night.

If you drop them off at a BB store your queue gets updated as soon as your movie is scanned. I usually drop them off at the quick drop and my queue is updated in a couple of hours.

yeah - pending on when I drop off at the store I can have the next title the next day

I usually use the mailer as a rental coupon though

The thing is that I don't want to run an extra errand. That's why I have them mailed to my house. I liked the idea of occasionally being able to do that, but the whole point of the service is NOT to do that.

for me it's easy as it's less than a mile from my home and on the way to the highway in the morning - easier than swining by the mail drop so for my situation it doesn't make as much of a difference

i haven't used netflix in years - does anyone know how they are now with dealing with issues about receipt of a disc? - this is the reason I left them in the first place

Just had my first one with blockbuster where I actually did misplace it and the process was surprisingly painless

I used to be with NF and on a couple of occasions they didn't receive a disc that I'd returned. I simply told them I sent it and when and that was it. It was an easy online form.

I quit for a while because we just weren't watching enough movies, but then I bought into the marketing of bricks combined with clicks and mortar. The service simply isn't as good, IMO.

I've been back with Netflix for about six months and love it.

cancelled mine anyway. I ended up ordering 6 Bluray's for the initial $9.99 fee. Not bad at all.

New pricing structure.

3 out at a time increases $10 from $24 to $34!!!

Glad I went to Netflix.

mine went from 17.95 to 19.95

3 out at a time, 2 coupons that can be used for movies or game rentals (which is nice since Wii rentals are like $8) - can also use my mailer for a free instore rental

I'm still very happy with BB Online

i think they may be keeping it lower for existing customers - in the notice letter they sent out they stated it was a $34 value which seemed odd to me

now it could make some more sense

Netflix has the 'Watch now' feature that is pretty cool. Sometimes at lunch I will come back to my office and watch a show. You get 18 hours on your basic subscription.

So, I cancelled my blockbuster membership....but they're still sending me movies. I asked them to stop. They said they would. They didn't. I asked them to stop again. They said they weren't sending me movies anymore. I asked them if that's the case, why do I keep getting them. They said they didn't know.

I hate them.

I don't want them, and I'm already getting the same movies from Netflix. So, it's just somehting else for me to remeber to put back in the mail.
