blog page with file upload.

Does anybody know an easy way to set up a blog page that would be password protected and allow users to upload files like word docs and ppts?

I have my own web site for teachers, I want other teachers to have a place to share ideas and upload worksheets, forms etc.

Don't know about a blog page, but maybe a message board you could assign permissions?
