Never say never.
Your right every village has its idiot
Never say never.
Nobody is trading back into the first to get tebow or mccoy it would be stupid you could trade up in the early second for those guys plus the drop off from mccoy to lafevour isnt big at all and some like think hes even better.
I agree with you. And I think they admit failure on the Branden Albert experiment by drafting an OLT. Fans that are thinking about Mike Iupati should take Albert as a cautionary tale.
They have an offensive head coach and are installing a new defensive system. Their OL is a total mess.
Actually Albert played very well his rookie year, then last year they switched to a zone blocking system where he struggled mightily early and improved as the year went on. His numbers weren't great, but he improved over the course of the year and was solid towards the end of the year. He may not be a pro bowler, but he is a solid LT. If anything, I would be cautious about using him as a comparison for Iupati because I think its more sheer luck that he has worked out for them (they started him at LT his rookie year figuring to move him inside when the regular season began.. and he never lost that job). Their line, if they can find a legit RT in the draft could be pretty decent. Albert-Waters-Weigmann (made a pro bowl a year ago playing center in a ZBS)-Lilja-Turnstile is how it stands right now.
What's the scouting report on their RT, Turnstile? Didn't he used to play for the Cards ?Actually Albert played very well his rookie year, then last year they switched to a zone blocking system where he struggled mightily early and improved as the year went on. I think it's Bulaga. The Chefs could go in alot of directions here including QB but I think they go with the safe pick.
Cheifs take a flyer on the OK kid here - Bradford.
