He'll be around for the foreseeable future. The Suns signed him to a 3 year deal and each year is unguaranteed, fantastic value signing by the Suns.

That's good to hear. He and Dudley may not be stars but they're the kind of players that make your stars shine.

Just watching the replay of Tucker falling into Gentry going after a loose ball while Gentry, all the while, telling him he should have let it go. Funny stuff. Gentry is always coaching.

I wish Ann Meyers Drysdale did not have to contend with Albert talking about the game.

:( I love Al. I cherish the moments when I get to hear him while driving. If there was an easy way to sync my TV with the radio broadcast (and keep it that way) I'd do it in a heart beat.

You could really learn a lot from Al McCoy. He doesn't trash the players. He's a class act.

The Suns need to work the ball inside more.

Example. that last exchange.

Albert - They called a foul
Ann - They didn't call a foul
Albert - i thought i heard a whistle

wtf, like they they dont blow whistle anymore when it goes out of bound :)

Okay, Scola is really beginning to irritate me with his persistence in taking shots out of his range.

How does this team score 97 points in 3 quarters? Even though Charlotte is pretty awful, we aren't good enough to do that, are we?

Well, this gets complicated. :)

Gentry is angry the Suns are slacking and rightly so. They are not good enough to lose concentration.

Scola has not played well tonight to put it mildly.

I think he's knocked more catchable rebounds out of play or into the other team's arms than every Sun that's played for this team the last decade combined. I mentioned in the first game of this season and I think he's done it at least once in each game. He just pokes and swats instead of grab or leave it to a teammate.

Scola is a good shooter when he stays within his range.

Wow, Beasley just dropped a 3, hit a jumper, and put a +/- 14 in your face Phrazbit. I think he's laughing at you.

Boom. Good for him... too bad it came between dribbling the ball off his own feet then throwing it to the wrong team. McCoy is paid by the team, he cant voice his opinion of the players. I am sure McCoy knows as well as anyone how horrible the Sleaze is. It bums me out that McCoy is having to spend the twilight of his career having to hype up a scrub like the Sleaze.

I feel sorry for Gentry. The Suns cannot just take an easy win. They may give him an ulcer.

I think this is going to be a season of streaks. 7 game losing streak followed by a 4 game winning streak and now we're staring into the face of a very probable 6 game losing streak. Unless this team really starts to play much better we could even go on a 29 game losing streak. We've had an incredibly easy schedule that turns killer after tonight.

Its nice to see us rout a team we should beat. But Charlotte IS that bad. This makes 13 losses in a row for them.

Agree. However, it would seem by this stage in his career he would know his range and I like what Scola can do.

Before someone calls me on the 29 game losing streak, I'm not predicting it will happen. We have enough talent that we can upset some better teams but this is the kind of stretch you never want to face. 29 games that we would probably only be favored in one or two of them, if the handicapping was done tonight. If we can play near .500 ball over this stretch, I'd be ready to guarantee a playoff spot. More likely, we go 3 - 26 and start talking about who to trade.

I still think we'd be better off without him or at least better off without much of him but he does have his moments.

With Morris a no-show on many nights, the Suns would be hurting without Scola... if winning is the goal. Morris seems lost out there too often.

Well, I just checked the rule book and you're correct. Apparently you have to play 5 guys out there so not having him would hurt us. Not much though. ;)
