Bobcats vs. Suns: Amare Started This Argument

Thanks to Amare's disrespectful comments about the Bobcats last week - I want you decide who has the better talent. Here is the depth chart for both clubs.

I will reserve my opinions since it is probably going to get me tossed out.

Amare's comments might, just might come back and haunt him during the season. I am not saying he is right or wrong. All I am saying is that the NBA doesn't have room for opinions like that of Amare's with regards to other teams. It is disrespectful.

I sure would not want Tim Duncan saying the same thing towards the Suns. Imagine all the anger it would cause here.

Please respect your fellow teams. Now let us see if Bobcats are that bad.

this is a joke. using this ridiculous rationale, the Bobcats were more talented than the three-peat Laker teams who likely would only have Shaq and Kobe as "better" than everyone else on the Bobcats.

We did this same analysis with the spurs and we come out superior, yet we saw how that worked out.

You know what, looking at CHA's roster I see another team that CAN be better than ATL.

Boston should be, ORL has a good chance to be with rashard, maybe NY with randolph, milwaukee was injured last year, etc... Hopefully all ATL's young players don't make that leap this year (and even if they do there is much more comp in the east) making our chances of getting a lottery pick pretty good.

hmm. good argument, except many would take Bowen over Hill at this stage of their careers. And Banks better than Vaugh is still questionable. Vaughn has proven to be more servicable than Banks thus far...

Do you actually think I was serious? The way you compared the Bobcats and the Suns is completely flawed, to put it mildly.

Steve Nash isn't just better than Felton. Over the last 3 years, Nash led the NBA in assists 3 times, won the MVP award twice and was a runner-up once, while Felton is just a good point guard.

Amaré isn't just better than Brezec. He's an All-NBA First Teamer, while Brezec averaged 5 points and less than 4 rebounds per game last year.

Really, man. I actually like the Bobcats roster and think they might have a chance to make the playoffs, but to compare them with the Suns (and actually give them the edge in the comparison) is outrageous, especially considering the Bobcats have NEVER beaten the Suns.

using that rationale, I think you should start watching WNBA, because your knowledge set matches the WNBAs skill set.

You have to weigh different things differently, and having Nash is way better than having Felton and having Amare is way better than having Primo. Then Marion is an allworld do everything player, and Bell is a great defensive player and threepoint shooter....

Basketball is not a series of 1 on 1 matchups... IT IS A TEAM SPORT!!!!
