I hate that Q has gone from franchise saviour to this.

Thanks for the memories, Q. See ya around.

Ditto...but the bottom line is this is a business and we may not like a talent to go...the timing is such that we get less value as each day passes. I am not saying Doucet fills his shoes day one BUT i followed him at LSU and he can catch the ball and might not be a bad fill in..no he no q but not too many are.

I read this:
? I would call it the best offseason in Arizona Cardinal history.

I would say that would be in the family photo! Sure would like to find room for Ward (jints) as Jacobs would be out of the question. The only position that is oh so difficult to fill is qb..and as great as warner is, we would be moving our schedule up 2 years if matt was sent out to do the job. he has enough time watching...gotta' play to find out what we got.

Q was my favorite Cardinal but if this is how he wants to act fine. I hope the Cards are a little vindictive when they trade him and send him to one of the crappiest teams in the league. Maybe then he will appreciate how good things got here. He will look awesome in a Raiders uniform. As for this 1999 talk please. Even if Dansby, Q, and Warner leave this team will be in contention again next year. It has been an emotional week for fans and players. Players are going to talk crap because they think it will pressure the fan base to put the heat on the FO to pay them their crazy money.

You want out Q? Cool step on up Stevie B.and Doucett. You want out Dansby cool bring in Suggs and sign a MLB or draft one. You want out Warner? Cool let's see what Leinart can do. This is not 1999 and there is talent for other guys to step up and play. Just look at what the Pats do, they don't panic when starters leave they get other guys to step up.

Now this is a quality post. You know who else does that? The stillers. Whisenhunt can make it happen with the talent we end up with when the season starts. We get stuck with Leinart? Bring in an OC who is good at developing QB's *cough* Shanahan *cough*

Take emotion completely out of it and the Card should look to deal him with or without his attitude. I don't care if Boldin had "Cards 4 EVA' tattooed on his chest I would still look to move him. Trading him could greatly improve this team. They have a surplus of talent at WR that could be parlayed into filling some holes. He is good but he never has been someone to build a team around.

His career almost ended in NY this year, and at the end of the day its a business and he needs to get what he deserves. His life could have been extremely different after that one play. I'm not about to whine because he wants to get paid more and believes he was treated unfairly. Who the hell am I to question him? He has given me as a fan more than I could ever ask for. Thanks Q. I still love you.

He's been asking for a new contract since the 2nd year of the extension he signed? Thats fairly ridiculous.
It is ridiculous. Then to hold off negotiations to see what the next man gets, only to get upset that you weren't immediately given a similar contract. Players can't get it both ways in regards to contracts. Keep it movin'.

This entire thing is because we went through Q to sign him and not Drew.

Drew probably chewed the crap out of him and showed him multiple contracts he could have had and then he watches Larry running wild and being paid and it works on you even if you could logically look at the situation most don't.

Sometimes the course of events just gets you.
