Per PFT it looks like they are renting him for the year and will pay him the 6 mill without a pay cut.

He might whoop up on us, but against Seattle against the taller more physical types he tends not to do as well. If I remember from last years game it was when I first thought Browner and Sherman were going to be major players in this league. Boldin was targeted like 10 times but only caught 2 balls. Those guys really roughed him up and the first time I saw Boldin as being human.

No worries folks, the Cardinals are making all sorts of bold moves that are totally going to counteract the deals being made by the Niners and Seahawks today...

Hearing Anquan going to the Niners just made me miss Adrian Wilson even more. Would have loved to see those two collide twice a year.

Oh dear God no. He is going to play just to stick it to the Cards twice next year. This is going to be agonizing

I think he will be fine. SF has a Crabtree becoming a true superstar at WR and VD running down the seam. With Harbaughs offensive mind and Q showing in the playoffs how much he still has left I could easily see him having a big year. UNFORTUNATELY!

Never said he wouldn't be fine. Just don't think he will be fine against Seattle, SF's main competition.

Kind of on a side note I think Seattle vaults SF this year.

Just wondering, but does there come a point where SF and Seattle run out of cap space ?

That's what happens when you have a competent front office and coaching staff. You are able to make savvy moves and structure contracts to bring in and keep great talent. Must be nice.

Seattle has a ton of cap space due to some really good drafting and cheap additions (like brandon browner)

Most of their defense is cheap and most of their offense is expensive - I imagine they'll have to make a decision with Rice next summer and they need to start supplementing some cheap talent into the offense and keep on drafting well.

Their entire secondary will be eligible for a reworked contract next summer so I'm sure they'll be some extensions then - plus guys like Okung on the OL

They can't touch wilsons contract until another 2 seasons are completed and he's under $600k a year, so that helps for the now .... but he'll eventually have to get paid as well

Until they have to actually pay starting caliber money to a QB, neither team will be cap or cash strapped.

Horrible. I am going to have to shield my eyes when he steps on the field of U of P stadium.

Boldin Crabtree and Davis are going to be hard for anybody to stop. Heck everyone, the 49ers torched us without Boldin. No worries here.
