Diaw has been struggling this entire season. I don't remember any impact game from him this year.

I kept saying it before he was signed, and will continue to say that Boris is not worth anything close to 9 million a year.

In defense of Boris, the overall team defense has been so poor that there hasn't been too many missed shots to create rebounding opportunities. The way Denver was hitting everything, I'm surprised there were any rebounds for the Suns to get at all.

I think Diaw's problem is his assertiveness. He plays half assed because amare is there. I think Kurt should start from here on out. I think Pat burke deserves to play more minutes than him.

Diaw is too lazy at least Pat Burke plays his heart out there.

At the beginning of the season I thought that Marion would ultimately be the odd man out considering our cap problems. Now I am convinced that Diaw is. He can't co-exist with Amare, he's too passive, often too lazy and still appears to be out of shape. He doesn't have the heart and the hustle that Marion posesses. He's still a commodity because of his performance from last years playoffs, but if we don't trade him soon his contract will become an albatross.

I fear the only time Boris would step up is if Amare went down again.

This has been my opinion for a long time. Even if Boris comes off the bench behind Amare he plays submissive because he is not the Suns primary threat inside. I guess it's the alpha/ beta pecking order. D'Antoni needs to find a better role for Diaw. I don't know how to cure the problem but telling Diaw he is the backup center, period, is a thought so he won't have to worry about his role conflicting with Amare.

I think Diaw should be playing point forward and dantoni needs to make sure that he understands that. In the preseason he should try to start diaw as a point guard instead of center.

I disagree. The reason that Diaw became successful is that he was quicker than the 4's and 5's that he was matched up against, and the fact that he picked them apart with his passing ability. You move him to the 1 or 2, and he becomes a defensive liability. (like he hasn't been recently anyway)

Starting him at point forward makes sense, when Nash is out of the game. I would love to see how a Rose/Bell/Diaw/Marion/Amare played together, when it is time to get Nash his customary rest.

The consensus seems to be for trading Diaw.
Where would you send him?
The guy is making big money. He is a very specific player who needs a team corresponding to his strentgh. Who would buy him?

I still believe he can be great for the suns. He is smart and will adapt.
He started the season out of shape then he get injured. With a good off season I think he can go back better next year.
