The NFL announced Kansas City Chiefs PK Lawrence Tynes was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Week 5. Tynes converted on all three of his field goal attempts, including a game-winning 19-yard field goal, during the game Sunday, Oct. 8.

The NFL announced Kansas City Chiefs QB Damon Huard has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Week 5. Huard, who completed a career-high 26 of 38 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns during the game, rallied his team from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat the Arizona Cardinals 23-20.

I wouldn't sweat it. Huard has been consistant in every game he has started so far. And tynes is a great kicker.

Our punter, Colquit, is punting so well, he should be in the pro bowl.

Our Probowl kicker has already missed 3 field goals, and our Punter should have been cut for Fred Capshaw.

These are the type of moves that you have to get used to as a new Cards fan.
