Not saying it's probable but what happens if Bradford plays incredibly well all season and the Cards make the playoffs? Do you sign him to another contract or do you let him go?

My best guess is that we trade Bradford for whatever we can get if Rosen has shown the promise to meet his talents like Mahomes apparently did with the Chiefs. I can't recall if Bradford has a players option to back out of next years contract or not.

Not exactly the same but Foles just won the SB for Philly and they didn't let him keep the starting job. Bradford will have to do something really remarkable to keep Rosen out of the lineup by next year.

Except Bradford has a no trade clause. So he calls the shot.

Thanks, I thought I remembered something along those lines. So we would have to find a team he would like to go to or simply cut him.

I do not want to see Rosen start a single game this season. He needs to stay on the sidelines his first year. Needs to be eased into the NFL.

I couldn't disagree more. In fact, I say he should start game one and that we should trade Bradford first chance we get (or keep him, I don't care). The days of keeping the QBOTF riding the pine are ending. Besides, from what I hear, Rosen was the most NFL-ready QB in the draft, is highly intelligent and not far behind Bradford in understanding the playbook. Why on earth would you want him to stay on the bench all year rather than get game experience so that we can better compete next year?

There are maybe 7-8 teams in this league.. who wouldn't be happy with a healthy Bradford under center, in lieu of their current starter.

I'll take an unbroken Bradford as long as we can get him.
Eh, more like 14-16.

The good ones don't need to be eased in. If Rosen can go, you play him. Period.

I don't disagree, but rarely do teams have a situation where the veteran in front of the rookie is as good as a healthy Sam Bradford is. I want the team to win and Sam Bradford is the best opportunity week one.

Rosen is unproven! Bradford, when healthy, IS proven.

Proven to be wildly mediocre? The pedigree is there, but he’s shown himself to be a homeless mans Carson Palmer at every stop he’s made.

I don’t know what Rosen’s ceiling is, but we know Bradford’s is a 9-7 record with a great defense.

what I know is this. If their play is close and the main difference is experience... then you play Rosen. he cant get nfl experience from the bench.

but my guess is they will start Bradford either way and insert Rosen at an opportune moment... give him a chance to start out like JimmyG did last season...make a short run then head back into the off season

This topic is kinda pointless. Bradford won’t last the season and Rosen will get his shot when he goes down.

And SWN said the O-Line is the “strength” of the team? Jesus... then this is one WEAK-ASS team!

Still stoked though for the season. QBOTF gets me fired up for at least a couple seasons where we can watch if he sinks or swims.

Jewish, "red sea", promised land...all sound good and like he will deliver a Super Bowl. It's the wandering the desert for 40 years and talking to a burning bush that concern me. ;)

They’ve already been wandering in the desert for 30 years... which means he takes us to the promised land in 2029!

Consider that the Cheesebeef Guarantee.

Also like Moses... he for some reason will not be allowed into the promise land and the unlikely event of Glennon playing in the Super Bowl and actually winning will occur lol
