Brady is the one who broke the rules and then lied about it and then covered it up and then sued the NFL even though he is a lying cheater.

I'm done talking about this. I hate liars and cheaters and don't need to spend my time on this anymore.

The reason the suspension was overturned in the first place was that a $4mil investigation could not reliably prove that Brady indeed deflated the footballs and the NFL all but refused to acknowledge that the ideal gas law may have impacted the balls. And even if it were true, a general equipment violation penalty is $25k, not 4 games and 2 picks. The only reason the NFL won today was because it successfully argued that it could broadly assess penalties, not necessarily that Brady committed any felonious act.

In the end, there will be Tom Brady/Pats haters out there who will laugh and howl about the ruling, but in the end, the ones who look dumb are the NFL and its commissioner for ushering this nonsense for two years.

Exactly. Today wasn't about deflated balls, but a labor dispute and the power of the NFL owners when compared to the NFLPA, and also how crappy of a collective bargaining agreement it actually is. You can expect a lockout when it comes time to redoing the CBA, because Goodell will not give up the power the office of the commissioner currently has.

I don't get the disappointment that we might not get to 'test our D' against Brady. I'll take any legal advantage our team can get in every game, and am thrilled that Brady might be out for that opener.

Yessir!!!

A win against a Bradyless team might be the difference between HFA or even a playoff berth. Believe me I'm excited as hell we don't have to play him...our chances of winning are mucho better.

Agree. The Cards don't get an extra win in the standings if they beat them with or without Brady.

32 owners (bosses) decide on lockouts, not Goodell.

Madjack's Banner for Patriots Game

Ha! I got the perfect banner for the Patriots home opener:

"AIR IT OUT!"

Too funny huh?

Love this for the banner. Would be great if you could put "RIP, Bob W." or "RIP, jw7" somewhere on the banner to honor a diehard Cards fans and ASFN admin who just passed away.
