I don't think organizations are apt to take such a superficial view of the game, nor the people who advise them. At least, not in my experiences.

Its not superficial. I feel its extremely grounded. I could write paragraphs on why I think its beneficial.

You can still scout and have reports on the opposing pitcher and scheme in that regard, but I think having the same hitters hit in the same order every game is overwhelmingly advantageous.

just 1 quick example:

Guys become experts on the guys hitting in front and behind them. Therefore if Julio is on 1st base, and he knows Chad always pulls the ball vs lefties, then that will affect Julios approach base running.

And maybe Julio also knows what Chad likes to hit curveballs. So Julio at 1st sees a curve coming, he'll be apt to get a jump because he knows Chad devours curve balls.
