That awkward moment when your pitcher accounts for half your offense.

Losing to the Nats is one thing, getting spanked by ATL at home is far more discouraging.

WTH is wrong with these guys. Jekyll and Hyde

I think BB was right when said that the Dbacks success mirrors Goldy's success. If Goldy gets it going the Dbacks will go on a run.

Or they can sacrifice a rooster.

This is a good example of why Im a big believer of finding a lineup that works, and not changing it every game.

A few weeks ago when we scored like 17 runs, why dont we stick with that? Just keep it as is. Swap out guys on occasion, but keep everybody in the same hit order. Obviously you found a very complimentary arrangement.

Even though batters go up 1 at a time, I do think getting comfortable with the order matters. Settling into your established hitting spot I think will help in the long run

So, platoon splits and batter vs pitcher match-ups shouldn't factor in?

Sure but some of these lineups don't seem to follow any logic at all. Giving Pollack a day off vs a lefty the day after he got 3 of the 4 hits the team had the night before or benching Lamb against a righty.

Nope. At the end of the day its just baseball. Pitcher is throwing to a catcher. You gotta hit it.

Look at Scherzer. Best pitcher in the world this year. We lit him up. Just got to hit the ball. No need to overthink things. The person throwing it shouldnt matter.

I don't think organizations are apt to take such a superficial view of the game, nor the people who advise them. At least, not in my experiences.

Yeah, I can't speak to resting schedules, that's only something those in the clubhouse would know.

Some our worst lineups have somehow produced some of our highest scoring games.
