It was disgusting display by 49ers female fans yesterday
during half time, there was a flock of them around section 120 walking and giving fingers to Cardinals fans shouting "we are the 49ers, *******!!!!"
I've seen fights before specially during 49ers & cowboys games. 99% of the time initiated by away fans.

I've seen enough fights and plenty of aggression in the stands at Cardinals games over the years, but this game was really high-tension. We had some guys in front of us that were Cardinals fans almost get into a fight. That said, I've only ever had two incidents over 10 years where I thought I might be involved with one. A Raiders preseason game in '04-ish, where a 45 year old Raiders fan threatened to stab me while I walked quietly back to my dorm at ASU, and an incident at Westgate where my 95 lb. mom decided to threaten some woman for driving too fast, and her sons and husband got out to confront my dad and I.

All things considered though, I'd have no problem taking my kids to a Cards game, regardless of section. Generally everyone is almost TOO nice.

All professional sports have drunk idiots.

A couple of weeks ago I took my kids to a Washington Nationals game. As you go into the stadium there now is a "Building 197" memorial that honors my 12 co-workers who were killed a little over a year ago. Kind of a solemn moment for our family as we have discussed "the bad man" who came to my work and "hurt daddy's friends".

We were all wearing Navy hats or shirts or sweatshirts (because that's how my family rolls) and these 2 drunks stumble in front of us (while I'm taking a picture of the monument) and tell me to take their picture rather than a picture of some sign.

I frown at the men and keep my composure, but my kids are clearly disappointed and annoyed and were just staring at the men. Then a drunk asks me, "what's up your butt?" before the wandered over to the vending booth.

Hopefully they felt horrible when they realize what happened. But most likely they were oblivious. To interrupt a Navy family honoring a Navy Yard Memorial on the 1 year anniversary of the shooting about 3 blocks from where the shooting happened is wrong on so many levels.

Drink and have a great time, but don't be an ******* and ruin the experience for the rest of us.

I'm going to the Rams Thursday night game with my three sons and son-in-law. All big guys and I've already laid down the ground rules. No drinking. It's like going to a bar and all you want to do is have a good time but there's always a fool or two who are just there for trouble. Ruins it for everybody.

I will be there also with my 13 yr old niece. Learned the lesson years ago to sit a close to the field as I can afford. To many inebrieted fans in the upper decks at away games. At Kansas City a few years ago a bunch of drunks made rude comments to my niece (9 yrs old) and all the women around us. When I complained to the usher he told me I should not have sat there. Myself and a few other KC fans found the head usher and told him. All the guys and the usher for that section were escorted out of the stadium by the police.

It is why I will not take my kid to a professional football game. Too many drunk idiots.

Bingo. I'll take my kids to an ASU everytime, but where there is beer, there are drunks. It seems when SF comes to town, there are more drunkin idiots there then any other team. Sad to see really.

I bought for many years in the club section to get away from that stuff

it does --- mostly

there is still a shocking amount of casual F bombs and the like shouted out--

I will say that often it was the blocks of seats owned by a company who would give the seats to employees / customers, etc -- and often they were for the other team.

Im no church-lady moralist, but in the days with my elementary school aged kids, it was a factor in me dropping tickets.

It was like being at a NFL game meant all inhibitions were dropped

I went to the Monday night game a few years ago and while we were tailgating there were some skirmishes in the parking lots.

Seems that whiner fans don't know how to keep their mouths in check even before games. They've been too used to rubbing it into others' faces for years and can't take it when you tell them they've done nothing since Young (before the last SB loss).

Anyway I'd be interested in knowing what part of the game these sore losers went off?

i think it was on Deadspin where they proposed simply referring to 49er fans as "newer version of Raider fan"

This is amazing to me. Every time I have gone to a Cardinals game, there has been at least 1 fight around me. Fans take this way too serious. Players care less about losing a game than fans do. Just don't get it.

The players are not drunk!

Meh, not the least bit surprising. Always fights at rival games. This one just got caught on video and glad I don't sit in the upper deck.

I took my 4yr old to the game. We had a drunk obnoxious SF fan who was in front of us and 3 seats over. While obnoxious he didn't try to start any fights. However he wailing his arms talking to another SF fan and kept hitting the lady in front of him. SAFE took him out twice to give him a slap on the wrist despite complaints from numerous fans.

Hate to say it but if they get rid of the beer, the fans would be more manageable, but that will never happen.

My wife and I used to attend a lot more games but our attendance has steadily declined for this very reason.

I disagree, this isn't about fans "taking it too seriously", this is about trash ball thugs that start fights with their "yo yo yo boyeeeee" b.s.
Certain people just shouldn't ever be allowed outside. Im sure if it wasn't a cardinals game they would find something else to ruin. Skumbags in my opinion

Unfortunately this is why we gave up our season tickets and quit going to games.

More power to all the good fans that go and cheer and support our guys, but in our section honestly it got to the point where you didn't even have to look for trouble, the drunken idiots would find you, and SAFE is horrible. Hope everyone is ok.

And it's not the beer in the stadium that gets most people in trouble, it's the 10 beers in the parking lot.

Bud Light signed a 1.1 billion dollar deal last year, they tell Goodell what to do.

The fight looked worse than it was because someone was a serious leaker. But the girls fighting guys thing is so whinerish, because their guys can't fight!! :D

It's a combination, but this definitely describes many of the trouble-makers. We were inside UOP 75 minutes before the start of the Cards vs. Chargers game this year and watched a guy being escorted out. Are you kidding me? Didn't even make it to game time. SMH. Saw several more before kickoff.

I think it's like that everywhere but yes SF fans are pretty bad. Many years ago a buddy and I went to a Cardinals/Giants baseball game. he's a giants fan I was a cards fan. I had a red VW Rabbit, when we got back to our car after the game the passenger side window was smashed, rock inside. I reported to security who told me they probably assumed I was a Cards fan since the car was red!

I didn't even have a radio so they weren't trying to steal. So I had to drive the whole way home with my friend having no window to roll up.

I eventually found out the parking lot was separate from the stadium and had I contacted them at the time, they would have come out, and given me a form to fill out to get reimbursed. By that time it was too late to prove it happened there so I had to pay(deductible too high).

You can't fix stupid but you can enhance it with alcohol.

No need for that kind of crap at a football game IMO. Some people just have no sense at all, let alone common sense.

Me too. I gave up my season tickets, and the poor environment was at least part of the reason. Once there was a brawl right at the bottom of the escalator with my 6 year old, my wife and me being pushed right into it. We barely managed to to rush past to the side. The kind of fight in this video can happen right next to you and you can pulled right into it even if you are sober, trying to mind your own business and enjoy the game. Some people are fine with that, some people enjoy the fights more than the game. I'm not one of them.

Before people jump all over Dockett for this tweet, watch the video and you will see what he's talking about. It's about the 40second mark.

The guy in the Dockett jersey is trying to break up the fight, and the guy he hits has his hand around the SAFE guys neck and is Clearly choking him. He tries to pull him off the guy, he wont let go, so he decks him. Good for him, cuz I'm sure that was scary for the SAFE guy. I dont usually advocate fighting or violence but some people just need to be punched in the face.
