Agree on an OT. Still need an OLB/pass rusher, I'd say.

Or - do you all think that the coaches have enough faith in Coach Horton's new defensive schemes to keep the FO from signing any more players?

I really don't think there is an impact OLB/pass rusher available.. they all got franchised. I agree we need an upgrade, but I just don't think there's a real impact player out there and we'd be better off getting Braylon & hopefully one more O-Linemen (Gaither is huge injury risk after Oakland passed on him, IMO).

I would really like the Braylon signing. Roberts/Doucet/Stuckey all seem better suited for slot/underneath type patterns (Roberts has shown big play ability though) and Braylon would help stretch the field.

Still have concerns about the O-Line, but it would be hard to argue Fitz, Edwards, Roberts, Doucet, Stuckey, Heap, Housler, and Hightower/Williams catching out the backfield would give Kolb some serious weapons to work with this year!

If we sign Edwards and Todd Heap catches at least 40 passes, Larry Fitz will have the greatest year of his career. He will run wild with Heap in the seam. When my son text me we signed Heap and then followed with the Edwards possibility I almost wanted to cry!

Gaither failed a physical with the Raiders a day or so ago.

Yeah, everyone needs to drop the Gaither thing. He's cashed. When he flies out to Oakland to sign the contract and leaves the facility without a deal...read between the lines.

I have given Braylon a ton of crap for all of his drops, but at this point I would take him in a heart beat considering our #2 situation. Had a solid season last year, don't think he had as many drops either. Well, besides that one that hit him in the facemask in a primetime game.
Im not sure anyone could have caught some of Scud's passes. Even with his dropsies, I would love to have him on board. The guy could be a star again at any moment.

I would love to see Manny Lawson in Cardinal Red. Steals from our rivals, and adds underrated talent to the roster.

Lawson is probably the best of a very average bunch... would Lawson really be that big an upgrade over Porter, Haggans, Schofield vs. nabbing Braylon and maybe adding another O-linemen.

One of the tweets re: Edwards did say our cap money is drying up fast.

Would love to see Starks, Essex or LD and Derrick Harvey. All should come reasonably, Starks contacted us so assuming he's healthy he should be considered. Essex would probably command some jack but I believe he is coming off injury as well so it may limit his leverage, Big like Starks called us so $$$ may not be an issue with him, he's robbed...I mean made enough. Harvey is a minimum deal guy, play him at OLB where he should be and we might have a bargain there. We definitely need another G unless the FO and coaching staff feel its Hadnot's spot but an OT to compete for the LT spot would be ideal.

Braylon hated LeBron before it was popular to hate LeBron. I like him for that alone.

I just hope he stays clean if we sign him and he loses his "hands of stone" reputation...

So many strange parallels to Braylon coming here....

Teammates with Breston at Michigan, I think Braylon was the man with breston as the #2, until Braylon left.

Traded for Stuckey who just signed..

I still think we'll end up with Lawson. Somers and Jurecki both mentioned him within minutes as someone the Cards were targeting. Somers soon retracted, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was just covering up for speaking too soon. Plus, I can't see the coaching staff counting on Haggans to start. At least I hope they don't.

Harvey may still have some potential, but would have to make the switch from DE to OLB and we already have Schofield, Davis, and Acho as young guys still trying to make the switch, so I just don't see Harvey as making any more of an impact than the guys we have. I think we need an upgrade at OLB, just not sure there's a great upgrade option out there vs. the other needs we have.

Your options for bringing in one more O-lineman are very reasonable, given who is left and how much we realistically have to spend.

How about the Cards getting another one over on Sexy Rex and the JETS...It's all payback for what his father did to AZ in the 90's. Karma...it's a BEEEAAAATTTTCCCCHHHHH!
