Clayton tweeting that he may have to accept a one year deal in Washington.

(Sure we can do better than that)

Dude.... His talent is much greater than a one year offer.

If we get beat because someone else offers a BIGGER ONE YEAR DEAL, that's just lame. Oh no the cap hit....all for one year. Get it done.

This would be fantastic. This year's team is already shaping up to be the best team I can remember, this would just be gravy. Jones and Moss are still out there I believe but I would definitely prefer Braylon.

LOL I am glad you guys said something. I have been refreshing my Twitter every 10 seconds and thought it was stuck. :)

Today has sold me on Twitter. It might make my heart stop but I have enjoyed it. Still dont know how to ask somebody a question or anything like that. Reading it is fine with me.

All you have to do is put their twitter name with the @ symbol in your message and it will show up in their timeline. So if you want to tweet Kent Somers a question you would just tweet this:

@Kentsomers what are the odds we sign Braylon Edwards

Bam. You are now a twitter expert, go out there and spread your tweet wings!

I am convinced more and more people will come around too.

I have been on it for a year or so now but mostly just talked trash to my friends. Now with the NFL offseason, it has been my left hand, checking on who goes where and knowing the rumors instantaneously. ESPN and Texts just arent quick enough.

If you are a big Cardinals fan and like to know every rumor and signing- and if you are here I assume you are - I just dont see how you can get around it.

I resisted twitter for a long time but recently started using it and I really like it. I never send messages to anyone. I use it to get updated on news since most people will post a quick message before writing their full story so you normally get news earlier.

Jones resigned with the pack for 3 years and this team is nowhere close to the SB team with fitz, quan, KW and a much better defense.

I've been using TweetDeck for about a year now. One desktop app with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn all in columns across the screen...updating in real time.

TweetDeck for the iPhone is nice to have as well.

Zero chance this years defense gives up 26.6 PPG. Ya know, like the 2008 defense did during the regular season. Obviously this team with any QB not named Rodgers/Brady/Manning is worse off than the offense we had with KW running the show.

Well if I hang out with tweeters on this forum, it all comes around. ;)

This is a great spot for sports news with everyone doing research 24/7.

There is no way that team had a better defense than this one will. On paper, we are better this year at the positions Hood, Francisco (remember how bad he was?), Robinson, Smith, Rolle, Okeafor, and Hayes were manning during the Super Bowl year. In addition to this, there were peripheral guys like Ralph Brown and Monty Beisel that we nabbed upgrades for. We have a better set of RBs and a much deeper O-Line too.

Obviously, the two teams are tough to compare and people will naturally be biased towards the Super Bowl squad instead of a group that hasn't played a single game together yet, but I really think this year's team will be better talent wise.

Watching NFLN, and the last couple of times they threw it to LaCanfora for the free agent update he talked about Edwards and the Cards possibility (didn't mention any other teams). Said it would take Edwards agreeing to #2/less money and years than he probably wanted, but seems like we are still the most active/current in the courting of Braylon.

Does he not realize he isn't REALLY a #1 anymore? And is probably going to get a hell of a lot more action as a #2 to Fitz than as a #1 on a lesser team? See: Boldin, Anquan and Breaston, Steve.

I think this deal will get done.
