Todd is going to be the only one left and the one who carries Walt's legacy of blue meth forward I bet.

I am starting to think Walt will be the only one left standing. Jesse will be dead. His family will be dead. His Gray Matter buddies will be dead. Lydia, Todd, and the remnants of his meth empire will be dead.

Remember, Walt started all this because he thought he would be leaving everyone behind. How tragic would it be if he turned out to be the sole-survivor?

Saw this spoiler on the web:

Walt is going to fake his death and get a job as a lumberjack.

:D

my favorite web spoiler is this one:

after his entire family dies, Walt finally goes to the cops, gives up Lydia and the Nazi's, goes into Witness Protection and ends up being Hal from Malcolm In The Middle. That would seem like his own version of hell, anyway.

this might be the ONLY thread in this board's existence where everyone is in complete and utter harmony about how they feel about this show.

if that doesn't say this is the best show ever, I don't know what does.

I have previously had that spot reserved for The Wire.

BB took it over. The show is flat out brilliant.

(and ozymandias might be the best episode of TV I've ever watched)

yeah, ozymandias clinched it for me. there's no doubt in my mind it's the single best episode of TV I've ever watched.

there's just so many moments that stick out for me as far as incredible moments in TV. shiver moments, like "Run"... or quiver moments like Box Cutter or just gasping moments like Drew Sharp's death... or just the odd like Gale's music video... or stuff like the Brothers crawling up the desert...Jane's death...magnets, bitch...I'm the one who knocks...Crawl Space...Tread Lightly...IFT...Jesse's descent into hell with his meth parties that were scarier then anything in the Walking Dead...hell, the first freaking shot of the entire show was a pair of pants floating down from the heavens, followed up by a rampaging Winny being driven by a guy wearing nothing but a gas mask and
underwear.

it's ridiculous. It's just flat out ridiculous.

just went back and re-read this whole thread, looking at everything we all thought was going to happen throughout the series.

I'm wrong about pretty much EVERYTHING I thought was coming...hell, I was even wrong about being disappointed if this whole thing comes down to Walt v. Nazi's showdown. If that's what's coming, I'm even peeing my pants for that!

There was literally only one thing I was consistently right about: Proclaiming this as the best show ever.

seriously...go back and re-read what some of our theories were. they're pretty funny.

I made it through most of the 1st season of the Wire and simply lost interest. Haven't continued watching it in about 3-4 months.

Does that make me a terrible person? Somehow I feel that it does.

Watching reruns of Homeland. What is it with eldest sons and staring into cereal on acclaimed dramas?

Outstanding!

With a Badfinger closing song, perfect.

pretty damn good. maybe not the best series finale of all time (and probably wasn't in the top five...or maybe ten of my favorites of this series), but it was pretty damn good and cements the show as the best of all time IMO.

The final act of Heisenberg was awesome.

my only nitpick...there seemed to be a TON of commercial breaks.

Very fitting ending. This finale was very satisfying.

the part where Walt said goodbye to his baby was more heart wrenching than any other outcome could be. To me that was the saddest part of the whole episode

yeah, that whole sequence at the apartment was the high point of the finale for me.

Satisfying watching Jesse snuff the life out of Todd.

I agree completely. This was no where near the caliber of Dead Freight, Crawl Space, Face Off and Ozymandias. I think last weeks episode was better than this one, but it was still a great episode. There were still some great surprises and twists though, and yeah definitely the best show of all time, at least for me.

I have no doubt that people will be let down by tonight's show because of the expectations, but for all intents and purposes the series finale was Ozymandias (incredible episode, three weeks later and still can't stop thinking about that episode), everything else since then has been filling in the blanks, dotting the "i"s and crossing the "t"s.
