edit again, was the right QB.

Brett Hundley played for the packers under Tom clements. He will understand some of the new playbook because clements has a big part of it. Decent, serviceable backup quarterback and just because he is mobile, doesn't mean we are drafting murray.

whatever KK wants at QB. KK will live and die based on what we get from the QB, so if that's who wants as the backup, I'm fine with it.

I'm convinced he will have a 124 QBR during this preseason under KK and we trade him by week 6 for a 2nd round 2020 draft pick

Decent choice, I'm not complaining. Very much room now to draft another kid too, just in case we're looking for a guy KK might like.

but what does this mean re: Kyler Murray :D

It means it's a done deal IMO.

But I already had reached that conclusion.

Actually not too excited about Hundly - he has not done well at all with the starts he has gotten. I'm sure KK's system will be better for him, but not enough to make him a viable backup I would think.

Not to nitpick but he hasn't played a snap in a regular season game since New Years Eve 2017. This does not instill me with a lot of confidence.

This confirms we will be drafting Murray. How it does - I am not really sure, but it just does.

It's not one thing - it's several.

1. Dumping of Glennon and signing of Hundly. You want your backup QB to run the same offense as your starter - we are moving to a mobile qb system is what this clearly suggests.
2. The Cardinals website openly discusses the idea about picking Murray, as do jurecki and other cardinal employees.
3. The signing of Suggs to 7 million. Not likely if we were going to draft Bosa.
4. Everybody at the combine is convinced Cards are taking Murray.
5. Keim saying for right now Rosen is our QB.

Bingo. Clements connection
No

He’s mobile

Nothing to do with Clements connection in GB

Writing is on the wall

You need to be fast

Kyler is the pick

He’s fast

Josh Rosen & his 4.9 speed looks like Peyton Manning running

Obviously you need to be really fast in KK’s system

I mean, just look at speed demons such as Mahomes, Webb, Baker, Manziel

Did I mention he was fast

I mean sheesh

Because they are going to run a specific system so you get a back up that can run the same system.

Agree all but 3rd point. Signing a 37 (!) year old edge rusher ruling out Bosa lol.

Way more similarities to Rosen than Murray as far as skill set imo.
If it was Tyrod Taylor i would think Murray is the pick

It would be - except Taylor wants a chance to start, so he is most likely signing in Miami.
