Things to know about this game
• Eight of Delgado's nine career appearances against Milwaukee have come in relief. His only start was July 13, 2013, a 5-4 D-backs win at Chase Field, in which Delgado surrendered four runs (three earned) in six innings and took a no-decision. Thirteen players made it into the box score that day for Milwaukee, none of whom are in the organization today.
• Davies throws his two-seam fastball about 60 percent of the time, third-highest for any pitcher with at least 500 total pitches this season. That includes 71-percent usage on the first pitch and 65 percent when Davies is behind in the count.
• The Brewers contained Paul Goldschmidt during the four games at Miller Park, holding him to two hits and three walks in 11 at-bats. For his career, Goldschmidt is a .391/.497/.684 hitter against Milwaukee, with eight homers in 37 games.
Pre-game updates
Diamondbacks right-hander Taijuan Walker threw another bullpen session on Friday as he tries to work his way back from a blister on his right index finger.
Walker was placed on the disabled list May 21 and threw a simulated game on Wednesday.
He wore a bandage on the finger during the simulated game and in Friday’s bullpen session.
It was ruled an error, but an on-base is all that matters.Nice hit by Blanco though
I was wrong when I posted before the season that Jake Lamb doesn't have the "presence" to be a cleanup hitter.
He is leading the Major Leagues in RBI's.
Good job, Jake!
I said all last year AJ out wasn't a big deal.

dang, Ahmed. But we are battling!
I wonder how much difference our record would have had we had a healthy Pollock the last month?
